We are educating the community about 22 state policy initiatives that could be done in the next legislative session that would stop killing BIPOC when they are signed into law. The reality is that we live in a one party county that has lost the social contract required to govern. This event will celebrate the retirement of their majority rule over the second largest county in the state, which we predict will be by the end of this year. This event will be an authentic BIPOC activist fair directed at young people organized with and by young people. There will be a large community art build, with speakers ranging from youth activists to candidates and educators. We will be directing public commenters to the board, during the entire meeting. There will be a free COVID testing Car Caravan. There will be people to register voters and help them learn about the different electoral issues happening in the next 120 days. There will be celebration cupcakes and music to mark the retirement! There will be a march as well. We will ensure that attendees learn how to get involved, get a civics education, participate in a community renaissance and have fun. Not having one is unacceptable. 2. Peter DiCianni should be censured for his actions in the many videos and in his written words. If he isn’t it will be clear public accountability of elected officials is gone. 3. Peter DiCianni should be removed from chairing the Health and Human Services Board for his unacceptable behavior. If he isn’t, it will be clear they don’t have acceptable standards. 4. He has violated the ethics Agreement he swore an oath to. He should be removed. A vote needs to be taken, even if it is in the court of public opinion.)
