His campaign also emailed messaging calling Darren Bailey “an extremist with a dangerous anti-choice record.” At-home issues: Cindy Bailey said the attacks also disparage women who choose to stay home with their children. “A woman’s worth is not determined by whether she works in an office, runs a business, or stays home with her children,” she said, sounding like a candidate herself. Under “Event Prohibitions,” a “Host Toolkit” warns: “Events must not be partisan in nature or make references to preferred election outcomes.” It bars “candidate campaign activity,” “any political party or political committee attending or helping coordinate the event.” The “Event Prohibitions” list bars events from being held at “overtly partisan organizations, or held at campaign offices, political party headquarters, or other locations principally associated with candidate or party political activity.” The prohibitions explicitly state: “Events should not be jointly branded with partisan organizations,’ and provides as “Examples: Democratic clubs, ‘the Lincoln County Democratic Party.'” Yet, in Roseville, Calif., the Placer County Democratic Party in California is explicit in its connection to the “No Kings” voter drive, advertising a canvassing operation specifically tied to Saturday’s “No Kings” rally at the Roseville Galleria. The party’s website invites activists to attend a morning canvassing session at Harry Crabb Park, saying voters will be gathered at the rally at the Galleria and promising materials to help participants “support our endorsed candidates.” On their Democratic Party website, the local party activists describe the “No Kings” rally as “a day of nonpartisan voter participation.” The advertisement raises questions about the relationship between the Democratic Party’s candidate-support operation and an event whose national organizers expressly prohibit political parties, political committees and candidate campaigns from coordinating activities. In Springfield, Pa., an event listed on the Women’s March organizing platform advertises a one-hour “No Kings FOUR” demonstration at 1200 Baltimore Pike. The event calls for voter participation and, in another direct conflict with the national coalition’s ban on “vote Blue” appeals, also declares: “Vote Blue. Vote. Make Your Voice Count.” Rules They Wrote Themselves. The coalition’s own documents leave little ambiguity about its official standards. In a five-page “Talking Points + Messaging” guide, organizers instruct participants not to use partisan political language, including telling participants to “vote for Democrats up and down the ballot” or saying, “we can get a Democratic Congress elected in 2026 to resist Trump.” It bars any “speaker expressing bias for or against any candidate for office,” the guide states. It prohibits candidate campaign activities, including campaign literature, fundraising and coordination with campaign staff. Political parties and political committees are also barred from helping coordinate events. The instructions go beyond conventional warnings against endorsements. Organizers specifically prohibit references to “MAGA politicians” and calls to elect a Democratic Congress. Even urging participants to register as Democrats ahead of the midterms is explicitly forbidden. Another document, “Event Prohibitions + Things to Note,” specifically prohibits “vote them out” and “vote Blue” messaging, campaign fundraising and political party coordination. Still, in Kingstowne, Va., Indivisible of Franconia is promoting its Oct. 17 rally at South Van Dorn Street and Kingstowne Village Parkway with the statement: “We vote for leaders to represent our interests—and if they don’t, we need to vote them out.” The coalition also prohibits events hosted or co-sponsored by overtly partisan organizations, including Democratic clubs. Its “Election Law FAQs” and “Resources” go further, warning that merely describing an event as “nonpartisan” doesn’t establish that it meets the standard. “Saying this doesn’t automatically make it so,” the document states. Democratic Infrastructure Behind No Kings. The contradictions come as “No Kings” draws on a sprawling coalition of advocacy organizations, labor unions and political activists. In March, Fox News Digital identified about 500 organizations associated with the movement, representing an estimated $3 billion in combined annual revenues. The coalition partner list for today’s protests is smaller but continues to include major labor organizations such as the American Federation of Teachers, the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, the National Education Association and the Service Employees International Union. It also includes organizations that align with the Democratic Party, including: Indivisible, MoveOn, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, End Citizens United, NextGen America, Our Revolution, Voto Latino and the Democratic Socialists of America. Most of these organizations or their affiliated political committees have histories of substantial spending to support Democratic candidates and causes. Their involvement places organizations with extensive electoral experience inside a coalition now publicly promising to avoid partisan campaign activity. The coalition’s breadth also raises questions about how organizers distinguish between participating in a nonpartisan event and advancing the electoral objectives of affiliated political organizations. — A recent survey of journalists in America helped expose a hidden truth of the feminization of journalism: Female reporters now make up over two thirds of journalists under 30 and half of those over 30. Another study put female representation at 72% of all journalists. In researching this subject, I found a survey from 2017 showing women were around two thirds of journalists then. In comparison, in 1970 women made up only around 20% of U.S. reporters. As Journalism has becoming increasingly feminized, in direct correlation we have seen the changes in reporting from the more objective and fact-based to today’s more “woke” reporting. Feminization of the profession may best explain what so many decry and its exposure the motivation to fix the problem. First, men and women are different in ways that drastically effect the framing and reporting of stories. Multiple polls show men are far more likely to be opposed to censorship than women. Men are also far more tolerant of allowing the views of all sides in debates. One poll, for example, showed men were 3.5 times more tolerant than women for allowing speakers with of even opposing viewpoints to exercise free speech In a recent Pew Poll, men were found to be far more in favor of free speech than women, even when that speech is an opposing view and provocative. Women generally favor consensus and non-offensiveness over hard truth compared with men.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: As the 25th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks approaches, some may wonder if increased vetting or possible distrust of Muslims in the United States caused fewer people from the Islamic world to immigrate here. An analysis of Census Bureau data shows that the immigrant population (also called the foreign-born) from predominantly Muslim countries has more than doubled since 2001.1 Not all immigrants from these countries are Muslims. (The Census Bureau does not ask about religion.) Nevertheless, the data indicate that the U.S. did not fundamentally change immigration policy after September 11th, nor does the desire of many people in the Muslim world to settle here seem to have changed much. As a result, the number of immigrants from these countries has soared. Key Findings: The number of immigrants — including naturalized citizens, legal permanent residents, long-term temporary visitors, and illegal immigrants — from the Muslim world increased from 1.7 million in 2001 to 3.4 million in 2024. This represents the net increase — new arrivals minus emigration and natural mortality. Immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries increased by 103 percent from 2001 to 2024. This is much faster than the growth in the overall foreign-born population (58 percent) and is nearly seven times faster than for the overall U.S.-born population. The decision to admit large numbers of people from Afghanistan after the U.S. withdrawal caused the population of Afghan immigrants to nearly double from 2020 to 2024, but Afghans accounted for only a quarter of the total increase from the Islamic world over this time period. Prior research indicates that 10 to 20 percent of immigrants from majority-Muslim countries may be illegal immigrants — lower than the 25 to 30 percent share for the overall foreign-born. The rapid increase in immigrants from the Islamic world overwhelmingly reflects legal immigration policies. Many top immigrant-sending countries in the Muslim world have hostile relations with the United States or struggle with powerful terrorist movements. From 2001 to 2024, the immigrant population increased by 202,000 (476 percent) for Afghanistan, 201,000 (93 percent) for Pakistan, 119,000 (41 percent) for Iran, 65,000 (109 percent) for Syria, 66,000 (416 percent) for Yemen, and 45,000 (87 percent) for Somalia. In addition to immigrants from majority-Muslim countries, there are 1.9 million U.S.-born individuals with parent(s) from such countries. The total number of immigrants from the Muslim world plus their U.S.-born offspring was 5.4 million in 2024, compared to 2.5 million in 2001 — a 118 percent increase. Assuming that recent trends continue, the number of immigrants from majority-Muslim countries and their U.S.-born offspring will nearly double to 10.4 million by 2050.)
