Former Army POW Jessica Lynch, whose story drew the nation’s attention during the Iraq War, was just 19 years old in 2003 when she was captured after her convoy was ambushed and rescued by U.S. Special Operations. Country star HunterGirl (Hunter Wolkonowski), a fan favorite from “American Idol,” kicked off the evening at 6 p.m. with a high-energy performance that had the crowd on its feet and set the perfect tone for the night’s festivities. An hour later, the moment thousands had been waiting for arrived as Sinise and the Lt. Dan Band took the stage. Their signature blend of classic rock, country hits and patriotic favorites transformed Cantigny’s Parade Field into one giant celebration. The Democrats who ran IRS hired me as a GS-7, currently $56,409/year, Revenue Officer when I was 22 in 1971 because I had earned a bachelor’s degree in business and passed the Federal Service Entrance Examination when I was 21. They promoted me to GS-9, currently $68,999/year, when I was 23, to GS-11, currently $83,482/year, when I was 24, and to GS-12, currently $100,059/year, when I was 25. Because they took adverse actions against me when I was 25 and 29 and made it clear that they would never promote me to GS-13, currently $118,984/year even though I had earned an MBA when II was 27 and passed the CPA examination on my first attempt when I was 30, I took a $23,699/year (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO when I was 31. I agree with them, but absolutely not for the reasons that they hint/imply/argue/shout. They know full-well that Democrats believe that the federal government exists to hire, retain, and promote Democrats who are minority, female, younger, and/or veteran and that I am none of the aforesaid. They know full well that federal employees who are Republican, White, male, older, and/or non-veteran have no Civil Service protections. — DD: To get more votes from younger people, Democrat and RINO leaders ever-increasingly blame older people for the problems that younger people have. It is called age discrimination. As I got older, my Democrat superiors in the federal government ever-increasingly blamed me for the problems that my subordinates had. All those who they assigned me to supervise were Democrats who were younger than me and were minority, female, veteran, disabled, and/or had performance problems. My Republican critics/opponents stress that I did not get involved in Republican politics until I was 49 years old. They ignore/dismiss/belittle/badmouth that I worked for Democrats before then.
