I share the following: old, White, male, non-poor, gun owner, draft avoider, Christian, past/present federal employee, and our ancestors have been in America for a long time. For example, Lake County’s Democratic organization sent letters to registered voters detailing their options, including vote by mail, party Chair Lauren Beth Gash said. They also called people to inform them of those options and to motivate them to vote. Meanwhile, Trump and other Republicans groused about possible election fraud in voting by mail. Relatively few promoted it. “The Democrats had a messaging advantage,” said Kent Redfield, professor emeritus of political science at the University of Illinois at Springfield. ‘A Democratic lean’ Election results have shown most people who vote by mail back Democratic candidates. “Vote by mail does have a Democratic lean,” Redfield said. “New voters, particularly younger voters, find voting by mail very easy and low-cost in terms of time and effort.” On the flip side, Election Day tallies appear more Republican than the final totals. Ever-increasingly, the more of the aforesaid that you are, the more that Democrat and RINO employers and organizations get rid of you.)
https://www.heritage.org/the-constitution/commentary/the-constitutional-way-defeat-cancel-culture
(FROM THE ARTICLE: “To start dismantling identity politics, then, and begin the civil rights movement 2.0, we need to stop the government from handing out benefits to those with a claim of victimhood simply because of membership in a protected group.” Suborning Americans to adhere to identity categories takes many forms. One clear example is preferential contracting programs that reward businesses certified as “disadvantaged business enterprises,” or DBEs. The owner of a business obtains certification as a DBE by being a member of a victim group and swearing in an affidavit that he or she has been “subjected to ethnic prejudice or cultural bias.” Having succeeded in life by overcoming this obstacle does not prevent certification. University of Maryland Professor George La Noue draws the only possible conclusion: “Thus, social disadvantage is, as a practical matter, established at birth, and cannot be challenged by evidence of a successful life.” DBEs, obviously, need to be discontinued. Indeed, the federal government should conduct an inventory to find out how many federal statutes make non-competitive awards based on race. The last time the Congressional Research Service (CRS) did this, in 2011, it found that there were nearly 300 federal statutes that “specifically refer to race, gender, or ethnicity as factors to be considered in the administration of federal programs.” The report added that, though its authors had been “as comprehensive as possible,” their findings were “by no means exhaustive.” The next obvious step is to declare that these statutes contravene the Constitution and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. One of the most visible set-aside programs is affirmative action in university admissions. Vulnerable high school seniors worried about getting into a good college are being encouraged not just to tick any of the identity boxes, but also to produce victimhood narratives that will get them into the college of their choice. This will take the courts, in the end, to resolve, though the Trump Justice Department took an important step in informing Yale this summer that its admissions program violated Title VI of the Civil Rights Act in discriminating against white and Asian-American applicants. Lastly, the least recognized form of racial discrimination is one of the most important: the doctrine of disparate impact. This allows discrimination to be found in a policy’s outcome, not its intent. This is a civil rights lawyer’s dream and leads to arbitrary legal action, since all policies have a “disparate effect” on people, especially when the categories are artificial.)

TOWNHALL
— Solutions to Conservative Angst in 2020 – Loyd Pettegrew and Jim McCoy
https://townhall.com/columnists/loydpettegrew/2020/11/22/solutions-to-conservative-angst-in-2020-n2580431
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Conservatives should withdraw complete support from all news media that offer politicized opinion in place of carefully documented fact. Don’t subscribe to or buy progressive newspapers like The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, or even your local newspaper if it panders to the left. There are really good conservative daily newspaper alternatives like the New York Post, Epoch Times, Conservative Daily News, American Thinker and Washington Examiner. Pew Research reports newsroom employment dropping 51% over the past decade. Force them to downsize to even further. Falling readership will force advertisers to take their business elsewhere and these newspapers will fail. The same can apply to major television and cable news channels. Be very selective in choosing which to watch. Punish companies and their CEOs that virtue signal by stopping your purchases of their products and services. Be it the NBA, pro football, Ben & Jerry’s, Starbucks, Chick-fil-A, Nike, Levi Strauss, Intel, Peloton, etc., choose an alternative or go without. Choosing Dunkin Donuts over Starbucks, for example, will save money and you will be doing your part, as Nancy Reagan said, by “just saying no.” If you own stock in one of these leftist companies that support progressive causes, send a letter to the Chairman of the Board (not CEO) and tell him/her of your disgust at their sponsorship of Marxist causes and that you will relieve your 401K and investment portfolio of their stock and reinvesting your hard earned dollars in their competitors’ stock. Some professional athletes have taken center stage expressing their opinions and prejudices on social issues. We should be very leery of such social activists. Being athletic entertainers doesn’t mean they have the intellect or moral character to become trusted oracles. In many cases they are more representative of the problem than the solution. Organizations like 2nd Vote can help you discern which companies and organizations align with your beliefs. Stop using social media and Amazon Unburden your social media life as well as your reliance on Amazon. They are physically, psychologically and financially addictive! We have laid ourselves at the feet of leftist, BigTech gazillionaires who only have their own interests at heart. They are drunk with vainglorious power and self-importance, and are buying off Congress to stay unregulated. Our world would become a better place when we connect meaningfully with real people. Unsubscribe or simply wean yourself off all but the most vital social media usage. When in doubt, pick up the phone and have a real conversation with your friends; group text rather than Facebook them. Twitter is an ego trip that you don’t need to take. Frequent local stores when buying things, supporting your local economy; you can get comparable goods at reasonable prices at big box stores or product websites. Use UPS or Fedex to ship. Don’t send your children or grandchildren to left-leaning schools because if they are not yet, they will likely come home brainwashed. Conservatives must become more involved at all levels of public and private education. The National Education Association (NEA) voted to focus teacher in-service programs on “white fragility” rather than quality classroom educational practices. It holds monopolistic control over public education as a labor union, strongly aligned with liberal Democrats. Most parents prefer quality teaching in math, English, reading/writing or science over K-12 leftist indoctrination. Public boards of education must be reclaimed by conservative parents. With the Covid pandemic, many parents are eschewing regular schools dominated by teachers’ unions for charter schools, homeschooling and teaching pods, less influenced by left-leaning politics. New data show that these alternatives provide a superior choice and so are under attack by the NEA. The Biden administration will double down on these attacks. The vast majority of colleges and universities are completely leftist. State legislatures must become more vigilant of the prioritization of Marxism in higher education over democracy and the free enterprise system. Influence your children to attend politically conservative colleges like Hillsdale and Claremont, pursuing degrees in engineering, accounting, finance and STEM programs. Note, even medical school programs are now becoming woke as Stanley Goldfarb has opined, “A new wave of educational specialists is increasingly influencing medical education. They emphasize “social justice” that relates to health care only tangentially. This approach is the result of a progressive mind-set that abhors hierarchy of any kind and the social elitism associated with the medical profession in particular.”)

— ILLINOIS LOSES 1,100 JOBS IN OCTOBER, UNEMPLOYMENT RATE FALLS LARGELY FROM WORKERS GIVING UP – Bryce Hill (DIERSEN: In 1998, when I was 49 years old, I gave up trying to find a job appropriate for someone with my education, work experience, professional certifications, and professional license. Employers do not want to hire those who oppose political affiliation discrimination, oppose reverse discrimination, or oppose age discrimination. Employers do not want to hire those who do not help them meet their Affirmative Action, Diversity, and Inclusion quotas, goals, and targets. Employers do not want to hire those who are draft avoiders. Employers do not want to hire those who have had adverse actions taken against them. My Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, gave me unfair performance expectations and appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $20,157 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980. My Democrat IRS superiors did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, got rid of my mentor in 1975, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims in 1974. My Democrat Post Office superiors forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests in 1969 and 1968.)

My Democrat superiors in the federal government stressed the aforesaid about me to my Jewish superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinates. (FROM THE ARTICLE: But Grogan says he’s undecided as to whether he’ll seek a recount of the ballots cast in the Nov. 3 election. He must wait until after the numbers are certified Tuesday, Nov. 24, before he can make the request. According to the most recent count, Downers Grove Democrat White had 233,121 votes, or 50.01% of the vote, to Grogan’s 233,046. Grogan, a Republican, is seeking his fourth term. County election judges processed and tabulated an additional 3,292 mail and provisional ballots Tuesday, DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek said in a news release. DuPage County voter turnout was at 75%, with more than 491,000 votes tabulated — 118,000-plus cast on Election Day, 190,000-plus cast at early voting places and nearly 180,000 sent in by mail, she said. Grogan said Thursday he is considering a possible discovery recount, which would look at up to 25% of precincts to determine if there are any irregularities. “I haven’t finalized it yet but honestly, anything dealing with big numbers — whether it’s processing checks here (at the auditor’s office) or counting votes — there’s always an error rate,” he said. . .Gains made by Democrats in DuPage reflect a “political transition” in the historically Republican county, possibly the result of changing demographics or this year a Trump backlash, White said. “(The county auditor race) is not an outlier. It’s part of a pattern that was repeated throughout DuPage County,” he said.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Millions of Americans who are working full-time jobs still rely on federal health care and food assistance programs because of low wages, a bipartisan congressional watchdog says. A report from the Government Accountability Office found that about 70% of adult workers participating in Medicaid, which provides health care to low-income Americans, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, also known as food stamps, are working full time. The report was requested by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, who said its findings show an urgent need to raise the federal minimum wage. “At a time when huge corporations like Walmart and McDonald’s are making billions in profits and giving their CEOs tens of millions of dollars a year, they’re relying on corporate welfare from the federal government by paying their workers starvation wages.,” Sanders said in a statement. “This is morally obscene.” He said it was long past time to increase the federal minimum wage from $7.25 an hour to $15.)

— In Georgia, get-out-the-vote operations that helped Biden win haven’t stopped – Vanessa Williams and Reis Thebault (DIERSEN: According to the DuPage County Election Division, 449, or 86% of the 522 registered voters in my precinct voted, the 7th highest percentage of the 130 precincts in DuPage County’s Milton Township. But my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes will stress that only 157 (36%) voted for Trump, only 193 (43%) voted for Curran, only 186 (42%) voted for Ives, only 219 (51%) voted for Grant, only 330 (100%) voted for Berlin, only 229 (54%) voted for Kachiroubas, only 236 (55%) voted for Grogan, only 243 (57%) voted for Jorgensen, only 216 (51%) voted for Youngberg, only 229 (54%) voted for Elliott, only 228 (53%) voted for Whelan, only 227 (54%) voted for Felice, only 231 (55%) voted for Walsh, only 226 (54%) voted for O’Toole, and only 221 (52%) voted for McCluskey. Of course, my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes will hint/imply/argue/shout that the aforesaid candidates would have gotten many more votes if the Republican Precinct Committeeman had been a) someone who they manipulated/dominated; b) someone who was minority, female, younger, veteran, moderate, liberal, LGBTQer, drinker, gambler, stoner, dog owner, attractive/handsome, non-overweight, non-diabetic, non-married, non-Protestant, non-German American, non-Trump supporter, non-gun owner, non-draft avoider, non-retired federal employee, and/or if their ancestors had not been in America for a long time; c) someone who rejected the traditional family, right to life, immigration, Second Amendment, illegal drugs, and/or equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks in the Republican Party platform; and/or d) someone who was promoted by the Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and/or Illinois Republican Party.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: U.S. District Judge Matthew Brann posed a routine question to the lead attorney for President Trump’s election challenge in Pennsylvania: What type of standard should the court use to evaluate the campaign’s claims of fraud in the Nov. 3 presidential election? “Normal one,” responded Rudolph W. Giuliani. Lawyers from coast to coast listening in on Tuesday’s pivotal election fraud hearing in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, cringed at the response from “America’s Mayor,” making his first argument in court in years as he tried to back up Mr. Trump’s claims that the election was stolen from him. There are only three types of standards for review: rational basis, intermediate, and strict scrutiny. Nowhere in law texts is a “normal” review found. At that moment, the trajectory of Mr. Trump’s legal assault on the ballot count came into grim relief and reaffirmed widespread skepticism that the lawsuits — or the legal team pursuing them — will succeed.)

In 1978, my wife and I could afford to buy a home in Wheaton, but we could not have afforded to buy that home if it had been in a more expensive municipality, township, or county. In 1984, my wife and I could afford to have a new home built in Wheaton, but we could not have afforded to have that home built in a more expensive municipality, township, or county. Since 1972, when I bought a new town home in University Park, my critics/opponents have hinted/implied/argued/shouted that because of discrimination against minorities and because of discrimination against females, if I had been a minority or a female, I would not have been able to buy that town home. The down payment for that town home came from what I had earned and saved a) working for IRS in Harvey for the prior 9 months and in Chicago for 6 months before that and b) working for the Firestone Store in Chicago Heights for the prior 18 months part-time and for 7 months before that full-time. That money also enabled me to a) buy a new Corvette in 1971 and b) pay tuition for graduate business courses at Loyola. Firestone hired me in 1970 because it could not find a qualified minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. In 1971, Oldsmobile withdrew a job offer that I had accepted saying that Oldsmobile had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. That directly resulted in a) Firestone Stores firing me from full-time employment and b) my accepting a job offer from IRS. IRS hired me in 1971 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. My wife and I bought a home in Wheaton in 1978. The down payment came from what she had earned and saved working for the U.S. League of Savings Institutions the prior 8 years and for the FBI for the 2 years before that. My wife and I had a home built in Wheaton in 1984. The down payment came from the sale of our Wheaton home and my University Park town home which I had rented out since 1976. He introduced a recent UPI story about Republicans’ views on the drought and wildfires by saying: “Democrats blame everything bad, including bad weather, on Republicans, especially on Republicans who are conservative, White, male, older, non-poor and non-veteran.” And talking of a New York Times article about a photographer arrested while on assignment in the Bronx, Diersen wrote that since 2000, he has been thrown out of, barred from, or not advised of news conferences “by Democrats, Democrat plants, RINOs (Republicans in name only), their operatives, and their dupes.” Thus, if you don’t want to read some very pointed comments, you may not want to go to gopillinois.com. But you would be missing a treasure of links to the day’s news and opinion. Diersen, 63, is a retired federal employee who became the Illinois editor of a national GOP website in 2000, and since 2004 has put out his own Illinois compilation every day. There’s usually about 50 articles daily, he says. He’s generally up by 3 a.m. He says he spends at least 10 hours a day on this passion of his, with no pay, and has put out links to more than 117,000 articles. As his comments above hinted, party regulars don’t always greet his work with relish. He includes dissident voices within the GOP tent, and some whose credibility is questionable. But he puts it all out there. He’s a GOP precinct committeeman, and he believes in people having information. He also wants to help elect Republican candidates who “will defend and advance the party’s platform.” The site makes available plenty of Diersen history, too, including how his “liberal Democrat superiors,” in his view, forced him to take early retirement at 49 from the U.S. General Accounting Office, “because of his opposition to race and gender based preference and his participation in a class action lawsuit” on that subject. He wouldn’t mind my telling you that he also passed his CPA and Certified Internal Auditor exams on first attempts more than three decades ago. Agree or disagree with him, but Diersen provides a bunch of interesting information — every day.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A pair of heavyweights are leaving the State Journal-Register. Political writer and columnist Bernard Schoenburg and statehouse reporter Doug Finke have accepted buyouts and will be departing the paper on Dec. 1. Finke has worked at the SJ-R since the 1970s; Schoenburg’s first byline appeared in the paper in 1990. Their departures will leave the daily newspaper with two news reporters and an equal number of sports reporters, presuming Finke and Schoenburg are not replaced before their departures and current staff isn’t reassigned. The paper, which has no fulltime courts reporter or police reporter or city hall reporter or education reporter, has posted jobs for a statehouse/politics reporter as well as a cultural, diversity and inclusion reporter who will “focus coverage on culture, diversity and inclusion trends across central Illinois,” according to a job listing posted by Gannett, the SJ-R’s parent company.)

https://freebeacon.com/coronavirus/conservative-journalist-successfully-sues-state-of-minnesota-for-access-to-coronavirus-briefings/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A conservative journalist barred from Minnesota‘s daily coronavirus briefings successfully sued the state to regain access. In a settlement signed Friday, Minnesota’s Department of Health agreed to reinstate PowerLine cofounder Scott Johnson’s access to the state’s COVID-19 Conference Line “as long as and whenever” the department holds a briefing. Johnson sued the Department of Public Health when he was barred from their conference line in May without explanation. Johnson had until then participated in the calls and posed questions skeptical of Democratic governor Tim Walz’s approach to combating the coronavirus. Health department officials also stopped responding to Johnson’s written inquiries. Those officials told the Washington Free Beacon that the briefings were limited to “professional journalists,” but did not offer a definition of the term. In his lawsuit, Johnson argued that the state had discriminated against him on the basis of political ideology and demanded to be included in the briefings. The Minnesota Department of Public Health declined to comment on the settlement agreement. Johnson has been critical of the state’s handling of the pandemic, challenging Walz’s decision to keep the state shut down in April given that, at the time, more than 80 percent of Minnesota‘s coronavirus deaths occurred in nursing homes and residential care facilities. That number dipped to more than 70 percent as of mid-October, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Johnson, a retired attorney and accredited reporter, argued that his exclusion constituted “an ongoing deprivation … [of his] First Amendment rights under the United States Constitution.” Friday’s settlement acknowledges his exclusion from the briefings and guarantees him immediate access: Health department communications director Michael Schommer is required under the agreement to answer up to three of Johnson’s pandemic-related questions per week.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Republican leaders are increasingly alarmed about the party’s ability to stave off Democratic challengers in Georgia’s two Senate runoff elections — and they privately described President Trump on a recent conference call as a political burden who despite his false claims of victory was the likely loser of the 2020 election. . .Some on the call expressed particular concern about Georgia’s fast-changing electorate, driven by the increasingly liberal metro Atlanta region and the push by 2018 gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams to register more Democratic voters, especially in the state’s communities of color. Democrats hope that the candidate challenging Loeffler in the runoff, the Rev. Raphael Warnock — the pastor at Atlanta’s iconic Ebenezer Baptist Church, where the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. once preached — will help energize Black voters. Perdue, elected in 2014, faces Democrat Jon Ossoff, a documentary filmmaker running his first statewide race. “They changed, dramatically, the face of the electorate in Georgia. Many of these new voters are from California, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, and they’re not of the conservative persuasion,” Perdue said on the call.)

POLITICO ILLINOIS
— LaHOOD’s NOD TO BIDEN. . .REP. DARIN LAHOOD says Joe Biden should be receiving security briefings, a sign he acknowledges the Democrat won the 2020 election. “It is appropriate from a national security perspective for Joe Biden to be afforded access to intelligence and security briefings,” the Republican congressman told Playbook through a spokesman. LaHood’s comment about Biden’s post-election position follows Rep. Adam Kinzinger, who took to Twitter on Nov. 7 to acknowledge Biden’s victory: “Congratulations to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Our nation deserves two competing parties who can work together when possible, and compete honorably when not.” Other Illinois Republican Party leaders, however, are keeping quiet about their opinions on the outcome of the presidential race. Illinois GOP Executive Director Derek Murphy and party Chairman Tim Schneider didn’t respond to requests for comment, and neither did GOP Reps. Mike Bost (12th), Rodney Davis (13th), or John Shimkus (15th). GOP Rep. Mike Bost tweeted Nov. 8 that he supports Trump’s “efforts to ensure all legal votes are counted… So while Joe Biden & supporters celebrate, our work continues.” Illinois House Minority Leader Jim Durkin and newly named state Senate Minority Leader Dan McConchie said they don’t comment on national security issues. Political strategist Collin Corbett says he’s not surprised some Illinois Republicans are keeping quiet. “Everyone knows Biden has won. It’s a matter of respect [for Trump]. They want to let the guy get through the process.” Corbett, who heads the “right of center” Cor Strategies, expects transfer of power will happen “and it will be peaceful. There’s no sense in angering him in the meantime.” – Shia Kapos

WALL STREET JOURNAL
— How Covid-19 Will Change Aging and Retirement Among other things, expect more aging in place and a wave of innovation to help make that happen – Anne Tergesen
https://www.wsj.com/articles/how-covid-19-will-change-aging-and-retirement-11605452401
(FROM THE ARTICLE: 7. We need to save more to retire While stocks for now continue to perform well, lower bond yields caused by the pandemic might make it harder to make ends meet on a fixed income. For years, retirees have relied on the so-called 4% rule, which says you can withdraw 4% from your savings in the first year of retirement, and then give yourself an annual raise to account for inflation, without running a big risk of running out of money. For someone with a $1 million portfolio, that formula produced an initial income of $40,000 and—assuming inflation of 2%—an increase to $40,800 in year two. But today’s low bond yields mean future returns are expected to be lower than in the past, says David Blanchett, head of retirement research at Morningstar Inc. Mr. Blanchett says his safe-spending recommendation is now between 3% and 3.5%. That means that someone who wants to safely withdraw $40,000 in the first year of retirement needs to save closer to $1.2 million than $1 million. . .9. We will work longer Since the 1990s, the percentage of people 55 and older in the labor force has risen steadily, to 40% in 2019 from 29% in 1993, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. With bond yields low, stock values high and Social Security in precarious shape, the trend will accelerate. “There’s so much uncertainty about the future…most people are going to continue to work as long as they can,” says Prof. Carstensen. With companies embracing remote work and flexible hours and the gig economy expanding, it’s easier for many older people to remain employed, says Jack Rowe, a professor of public health at Columbia University. Of course, not everyone has the ability to work into their 70s or beyond. Some are in poor health, have jobs they can no longer perform or are victims of age discrimination. “As a society, we will have to provide ways for people who cannot work to receive support, says Prof. Carstensen.”)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: President Donald Trump insisted more than once the “Resistance” movement that attempted to stop his presidency was really attacking American voters who put him in the White House, and now the Kristallnacht-like Resistance has proven him right. Bolstered by Joe Biden’s expected win over Trump, the so-called Resistance movement of Democrats and “Never Trump” Republicans is blatantly calling for Trump supporters to be punished if they voted for him and put out a yard sign, cheered for him and defended his policies, or served in his administration. “Shunning, shaming these people is a statement of moral indignation,” Jennifer Rubin, the Washington Post columnist, suggested on MSNBC over the weekend, “that these people are not fit for polite society.” Rubin made those comments (see video below) after reminding the cable news network she had cheered when then-press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was run out of a Washington, D.C. restaurant. That incident dates back to 2018 and it appears Rubin, the Post’s supposedly conservative reporter, has no regrets about punishing political enemies two years later. “It’s not only that Trump has to lose,” she further stated, “but that all his enablers have to lose.” From ‘reconciliation’ to ‘accountability’ Even before Election Day, Berkeley economics professor Robert Reich raised eyebrows when he suggested via Twitter there should be a “Truth and Reconciliation Commission” if Trump loses re-election. What would such a commission do? “It would erase Trump’s lies, comfort those who have been harmed by his hatefulness,” he wrote, “and name every official, politician, executive, and media mogul whose greed and cowardice enabled this catastrophe.” When fellow Twitter users pushed back on the suggestion, Reich, who served as labor secretary for Bill Clinton, scoffed at warnings his idea was “undemocratic.” Then came Election Day. Democrats not only celebrated a projected win for Joe Biden but predicted an angry, crying Donald Trump would be marched out of the White House and his Hitler-endorsing, white supremacist minions should be punished, too. But there needs to be a record, right? The history of despotic regimes has shown The Right Thinkers have to take names, and document wrongdoing, in order to punish The Wrong Thinkers. One self-described revolutionary who was thinking ahead was Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the socialist lawmaker. She asked via Twitter is anyone was “archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future.” Yes, infact, some people were doing just that. Just three days after Election Day, the Trump Accountability Project was born with the motto, “Remember what they did.” The group, founded by staffers associated with Pete Buttigieg, vowed to “not allow the following groups of people profit from their experience: Those who elected him. Those who staffed his government. Those who funded him.” CNN: No more ‘Kristallnacht’ Following on the heels of vows to punish Trump and his supporters, CNN reminded its viewers this week that Nov. 9 marked the anniversary of Kristallnacht, the “Night of Broken Glass” in 1938. On that night, Nazi Party members torched Jewish homes and schools, vandalized synagogues, and arrested approximately 30,000 Jews and marched them off to concentration camps. Another 100 Jews were killed. The horrors or Kristallnacht, CNN’s anchor Christiane Amanpour opined, included an attack on “facts, knowledge, history and truth” when the Nazis tossed thousands of books into the fire. “After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump,” Amanpour summarized, “the Biden-Harris team pledges a return to normal.” For supporters of Donald Trump, who are not Nazis and don’t know one, the obvious question is: What in the world is going on? According to psychiatrist Dr. Karl Benzio, it boils down to emotions detached from reality, which Trump supporters have named Trump Derangement Syndrome for the bizarre, unhinged behavior of the Left. “The definition of psychosis is when somebody isn’t able differentiate reality from non-reality,” Dr. Benzio tells OneNewsNow. “The definition of delusion is a fixed, false belief.” A human being’s emotional volume is always competing with our rational volume, Dr. Benzio says, like when a rabid sports fan reacts angrily when their beloved team fails to reach the end zone or, worse, loses the game and the grief-stricken fan fails to cope with the loss. In the case of President Trump, he is the opposing team that “stole” the game from the home team — then dances in the end zone to rub it in. When the trolling, counter-punching commander in chief posts a sarcastic tweet, or drops a new nickname for a politician beloved by Democrats, Benzio says, it only makes his enemies angrier. And now those angry enemies, who likely won the game on Election Day, are plotting revenge.)
