For me, it includes far too many Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct since 2000 who have blamed me and blamed my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters for their losses and/or near losses. I should write about those candidates and their major donors, political consultants, fundraisers, pollsters, campaign managers, campaign staff members, and campaign volunteers. Most commonly, they have hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I painted them as being more conservative than they wanted to be painted and that caused them to lose. I would focus on the aforesaid candidates who rejected the most planks in the Republican Party platform. I have long since stopped helping elect candidates in nonpartisan elections and  Republican primary elections a) because far too many of those candidates who lost those elections and primaries blamed me and blamed my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters for their defeats and b) far too many of those candidates who won Republican primaries buy lost general elections blamed their defeats on my support for their opponents in the primaries. – Dave Diersen
