Yes, Wheaton has several progressive Christian organizations that have bought into the “No one is Illegal” mantra, but there is not a lot of low-income housing or jobs available in the city. It’s either that, or they think ICE is wrongly enforcing the laws. Which is it, organizers? And what exactly does “Harm to One is Harm to All” mean? Maybe the organizers should ask if the harm – murder of Katie Abraham and her friend Chloe Polzin – by an illegal alien in Champaign means harm to all. Why aren’t they focused on that? Or the harm illegals do by just simply flaunting our laws and expecting us to pick up the tab for everything. This particular rally in Wheaton, though, is just trying to get the Democrats riled up in the suburbs for political gain. They are looking to piggyback on all the attention Chicago is receiving about the threat of heightened ICE enforcement and possibly the National Guard coming to patrol the streets of the City. Ms. Ives is widely rumored to be on the short-list of potential running mates for Republican gubernatorial candidate Ted Dabrowski.

— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD: Student enrollment at Illinois’ regional universities is plummeting. Under the Democrats and under the RINOs, demographics trump everything. I earned a) a bachelor’s degree when I was 21, b) master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, c) professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 46, and 48, and d) a professional license when I was 32 I spent a tremendous amount of time and money doing the aforesaid. But could I find the motivation to do the aforesaid if I was young today? From what I see, fewer and fewer and fewer of those share demographics seek college degrees, professional certifications, and professional licenses. From what I see, it is because of ever-increasing Affirmative Action and DEI, that is, it is because of ever-increasing race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, and national origin discrimination. Young people with my demographics ever-increasingly believe that it is not only not worth the effort, but that it is impossible. From what I see, ever-increasingly, America is up-or-out for those who share my demographics. If you share my demographics, you are written off and gotten rid of if you are not making say $150,000+/year by age 25, $200,000+/year by age 30, $250,000+/year by age 35, $400,000+/year by age 40, etc. In the federal government, the earnings deadlines are $117,807 by age 25, $139,211 by age 30, $163,749 by age 35, and $195,200 by age 40. Extremely few of those who share my demographics are able to meet those earnings deadlines. Because of my demographics and because I did not make any of the aforesaid earnings deadlines, my Democrat superiors in the federal government wasted my career and got rid of me.
