They crow that I am no longer a TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee member, MTRCC webmaster, Illinois Center Right Coalition (ICRC) Steering Committee member, American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter board member, GAO employee, etc. They crow that they almost succeeded in getting ICRC to censure in 2006 me for my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: I can be forgiven if I’m a little pissed off right now. The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals decided a few days ago that it’s okay for employers to discriminate against me. As I explained in my June 9 blog post, a man named Dale Kleber sued CareFusion Corp. for discriminatory hiring practices in violation of the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA). A three-judge panel of the Seventh Circuit found that CareFusion violated the Act when it published a job description seeking an in-house attorney “with no more than 7 years’ relevant legal experience.” Kleber claimed that was really code for younger candidates, in light of the fact the company hired a 29-year-old instead of him.)

The veteran educator is also accused of having manipulated her students into aiding her and her campaign. Ives argues Bray-Parker is all about special interests, warning voters that if she is elected they face additional taxes, being told what to do with their property and some form of censorship. “Churches beware too, as she has opinions, apparently, about which views of Christianity are best,” Ives added. “When your church wants to expand, would she allow a zoning change or block it with her vote?” Finally, Ives charges Bray-Parker is more than willing to run roughshod over “our Constitutional and God-given natural rights,” adding she thinks Bray-Parker has not shown herself to be inclusive in the least. “Fortunately, the business owner at Wheaton Bowl (one of the owners Bray-Parker is accused of trying to strong-arm) refused to be bullied by her,” she added. “Other businesses, I am told, cowered to her demands—which is why everyone should frequent Wheaton Bowl and tell them you appreciate their common sense and decency.” Ives urged voters to take to the polls in April to reject what she called Bray-Parker’s brand of politics. “There are two seats up for Wheaton City Council at-large,” she said. “Running against ((Bray-)Parker are Suzanne Fitch and Ron Almiron. Perhaps this insulting language is so casual and automatic, because this is also how the Republican Party has treated its voters. Until Trump, the GOP saw itself as one wing of a responsible governing class. All the talk of shrinking the government and the culture war was just overheated rhetoric that no one in power seriously believed. The party’s leadership functioned to divert its voters discontent into an agenda more palatable to the ruling class. Thus, every campaign sounded like the second coming of Paul Revere, but in the end, the practical outcome was some work on the margins related to tax cuts. For issues like gay marriage, abortion, immigration, crime, and affirmative action, the Republican leadership mostly tried to avoid them altogether. After every electoral loss, the solution was to be less divisive and to focus on economic issues. This was the party leadership’s official recommendation following Mitt Romney’s loss in 2012, as if this milquetoast establishment hack’s defeat was the result of him being too conservative. The friction between the coasts and the interior is not merely political; it’s cultural, religious, economic, and demographic. The intensity of the friction has led, in recent times, to the suggestion we may be on the brink of a kind of civil war. We see hints of similar divisions in Europe, where Brexit and the Gilets Jaunes protests are fundamentally populist and have occasioned maniacal responses by the ruling class. Separation Would Be Preferable to the Current Hostilities  One solution proffered from time to time is a peaceful separation. Observers on the Right and the Left have suggested that the rift is simply too deep and serious to be resolved, and that the mutual interest of everyone concerned would benefit by a divorce, whether deemed secession or an invigoration of local autonomy or something else. . .The Left Is Totalitarian By Nature Leftism is not simply one opinion among many. For the Left’s votaries, it’s closer to a religion. Our history of white supremacist policies is ongoing.” Stava-Murray did not respond to multiple requests from the DuPage Policy Journal seeking substantiation for her comments—any evidence that Naperville ever, or currently has, white supremacist policies.
