— How saving and sensible investing can pay for a long, active, comfortable retirement – Thomas Heath (DIERSEN: Your required minimum distribution (RMD) says a lot about how successful you were saving for your retirement. My RMD is only about $10,000/year. It would be much greater if my Democrat superiors in the federal government had not wasted my career and forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: White and his wife live mostly on the dividends from 62 blue-chip companies, including Coca-Cola, Bristol-Myers, Ford, Verizon, Caterpillar, American Electric Power, Duke Energy, Baxter Labs, Johnson & Johnson and PPG Industries. He also owns a couple of exchange traded funds (ETFs). He said all the holdings have appreciated “a lot,” but he doesn’t plan to sell any because, (a) he doesn’t need the money and (b) selling would create a sizable tax bill. (He hates the “required minimum distribution” that he must take on his tax-deferred retirement accounts because they raise his taxes.) White is fortunate in one respect. His father, who was an engineer with New York Telephone, gave him early training in investing and taught him the value of owning shares in good companies. It took me until I was 40.)

CRAIN’S CHICAGO BUSINESS
— Chicago CEOs outrun peers on pay, while employees trail national median The wide pay gap reflects the area’s high concentration of big companies with lots of low-wage workers. – STEVEN R. STRAHLER (DIERSEN: Trump’s salary is only $400,000/year. In today’s dollars, my GAO salary in 1997, when I was 49 years old, was $127,654/year. That pay ratio is only 3.13. If Trump’s salary was adjusted for inflation, it would be $704,687/year today. I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes who viciously demonize, viciously denigrate, and viciously condemn government employees as being overcompensated. My GAO salary would have much lower if I had not earned a) a job-related bachelor’s degree when I was 21 in 1970 and job-related master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, b) job-related professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 47, and 48, and c) a job-related professional license when I was 32. My GAO salary would have been much higher if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran.)
https://www.chicagobusiness.com/news/chicago-ceos-outrun-peers-pay-while-employees-trail-national-median
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The average Jo working at a Chicago public company made 1.3 percent more last year, lifting her median wage to $68,262—barely 1 percent of the middling CEO’s $5.6 million. For the second consecutive year, proxy filings compare CEO compensation to the median-paid employee’s. Excluding a couple of outliers, this so-called pay ratio ranges between 661 and 12 at the 107 local companies reporting so far. Chicago’s median pay ratio rose from 111 to 113.5 in 2018. That’s well above the nationwide median of 74, with a typical local CEO making 14.6 percent more than counterparts around the country. The opposite was true for median-paid workers at Chicago-based companies, who made nearly 20 percent less than the national median of $84,398, which rose faster last year than Chicago’s median.)

My Democrat GAO superiors would stress that they forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, gave me unfair performance expectations and appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $19,568 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980. My Democrat IRS superiors would stress that they did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, got rid of my mentor in 1975, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims in 1974. (FROM THE ARTICLE: The College Board plans to add a 1-to-100 “adversity score” to student SAT results, in a well-intentioned attempt to add context to a youngster’s performance on the test and — this is the theory, anyway — encourage schools to admit more high-potential youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds. So far, they’re hiding the formula of how 15 different variables, including a school or neighborhood’s poverty levels, housing stability and crime rates, will be weighed in boiling everything down to a single, simple number. Bad beginning, especially for an institution committed to teaching and learning.)

HERALD & REVIEW
— In marijuana debate, Decatur city officials would wield power in where pot is sold – ANALISA TROFIMUK (DIERSEN: Needless-to-say, if you live in a municipality, please urge the leaders of your municipality, and those who want to be leaders of your municipality, a) to speak out against the marijuana bill in Illinois and b) to commit to voting against the sale of marijuana in your municipality.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Opt out or be open for business? That’s the question Decatur officials will be facing if Illinois lawmakers take the historic step of legalizing recreational marijuana. The legislation, a key campaign issue for Democrat J.B. Pritzker, is being considered by the Democrat-controlled General Assembly in the sprint to the end of session on May 31. The original legislation allowed expungements for cannabis-related convictions. The exact language is still under debate, along with fine-tuning various parts of the plan to meet concerns from law enforcement, current growers and activists. If the proposal survives the growing debate in Springfield, it will be left to municipal officials whether to allow pot dispensaries within their borders. Opting out means losing revenue generated from sales, as well as permit fees.)

https://canadafreepress.com/article/fear-loathing-intolerance-and-worse
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Throughout history despots had effective ways of reducing dissension in the ranks. Inquisitors burned heretics. Nazis burned books—before taking far more extreme measures. Soviets employed famines, gulags, salt mines and executions. ChiComs and other tyrants starved, jailed and murdered millions. Today’s Green New Dealers and their allies have mapped out their own totalitarian strategies. They proclaim themselves socialists, but their economic policies and tolerance for other viewpoints reflect a different form of government—fascism: A political system in which authoritarian government does not own businesses and industries, but strictly regulates and controls their actions, output and rights—while constraining and suppressing citizens and their thought, speech and access to information. . .Twitter routinely engages in similar cold, calculated censorship of views it opposes. Google helps the Chinese government deny its citizens access to “dangerous ideas”—and says nothing when China sends a million Uighur Muslims to “reeducation camps.” Its hard-left employees ostracize any conservatives they still find in their ranks…and claim helping the US Defense Department with Cloud computing or artificial intelligence surveillance would “violate their principles.” Facebook “shadow banned” an ad promoting a Heartland Institute video that called on millennials to reject socialism and embrace capitalism. Facebook censors told Heartland they “don’t support ads for your business model” (capitalism) and would not reveal “red flags” and trade-secret algorithms they use to “identify violations” of their policies and “help preserve the integrity of our internal processes.” Google suppressed Claremont Institute ads for a talk on multiculturalism and political speech restrictions. Twitter routinely engages in similar cold, calculated censorship of views it opposes. Wikipedia posts distorted or false bios for climate realist experts and organizations—labeling me an anti-environment lobbyist—and then pops up ads soliciting money for its biased “educational” material. Securing corrections is a long, often fruitless process. Even more totalitarian, the Southern Poverty Law Center uses phony “hate speech” claims to defund and “deplatform” conservative groups like David Horowitz’s Freedom Center, by pressuring credit card companies to close off donations to them. State attorneys general and members of Congress want to prosecute and jail people for “denying the reality” of “manmade climate cataclysms.” Worst of all, the callous organizations and policies that Big Tech supports cause millions of deaths every year, by denying impoverished nations and families access to the modern energy, insect control and agricultural technologies that its vocal, racist elements loathe.)

https://www.wnd.com/2019/05/googles-top-stories-shows-obvious-left-wing-bias-audit-reveals/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Noting that Google’s search algorithm is “perhaps the most powerful mediator of online attention to news,” a team of university scholars conducted an audit that found just 20 news sources account for more than half of article impressions, and most lean left. The top 20 percent of sources — 136 of 678 sampled — accounted for 86 percent of article impressions. And the top three accounted for 23 percent: CNN, the New York Times and the Washington Post, according to Assistant Professor Nicholas Diakopoulos and his team at the Computational Journalism Lab at Northwestern. In an article for Columbia Journalism Review, he wrote that “for all the influence Google has in directing attention, we know painfully little about how its algorithm selects and curates news.” “Which sites does it direct traffic toward? And how does Google’s news curation impact the diversity of information found?” he asked. The audit examined Google Top Stories in terms of ideological lean, based on the self-reported political affiliation of Facebook users sharing content from those sources. The team’s data showed that 62.4 percent of article impressions were from sources rated as left-leaning. Just 11.3 percent were from sources rated as right-leaning. “These statistics underscore the degree of concentration of attention to a relatively narrow slice of news sources,” Diakopoulos wrote. . .‘News blacklist’ In April, a newly obtained document showed Google maintains a “news blacklist” and manipulates its search results manually, contrary to the company’s official denials. WND reported in March a Google manager allegedly responded to an employee who questioned the company’s war on “fake news” by arguing that fake news and “hate speech” had to be stopped, because “that’s how Trump won.” In November, the Daily Caller reported Google employees debated whether to bury the reporting of conservative media outlets in the company’s search function in response to Trump’s election. Employees similarly sought to manipulate search results to combat Trump’s travel ban, the communications showed. In an interview with WND at the time, Robert Epstein – who was famed behavioral psychologist B.F. Skinner’s last Ph.D. student at Harvard – said Google’s effort to defeat Trump confirms his extensive, peer-reviewed research over the past half decade. “Not only does Google have the power to shift votes and opinions on a massive scale, they actually use that power,” Epstein said. During the 2016 election campaign, Epstein concluded that Google heavily biased results in favor of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, possibly shifting as many as 3 million votes. A video leaked in September showed Google executives at their first weekly meeting after Trump’s election exhibiting panic and dismay while expressing their determination to thwart the new administration’s agenda as well as the emerging global populist movement.)

https://www.pjstar.com/news/20190513/marijuana-bill-may-violate-illinois-constitution-prosecutors-say
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A key component of a bill that would legalize possession and sale of marijuana for recreational use in Illinois — erasing pot-related convictions for potentially hundreds of thousands of people — may violate the state Constitution, according to the group representing county prosecutors statewide. The bill essentially would create legislative pardons, which are illegal, said Robert Berlin, president of the Illinois State’s Attorneys Association. Under the Illinois Constitution, only the governor can issue pardons, Berlin, the DuPage County state’s attorney, told The State Journal-Register. “It’s a separation of powers argument,” he said. An additional constitutional concern, he said, is that prosecutors would be prohibited under the bill from helping to determine who is and isn’t eligible for expungement of certain misdemeanor and felony convictions. “It takes away all of our discretion,” Berlin said of Senate Bill 7, adding that court challenges could overturn such expungements. Berlin, a Republican, said the bipartisan association plans to present its concerns to Gov. J.B. Pritzker, a Democrat and supporter of the bill, as well as the bill’s sponsors in the General Assembly. Berlin said the association has taken a neutral stance on the overall bill.)

https://illinoistimes.com/article-21221-muhs-accompanied-by-staff-leaves-sj-r.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The entire State Journal-Register newsroom walked out today in support of now former editor Angie Muhs, who was walked out of the building this afternoon by the paper’s general manager after submitting her resignation on Friday. In an impromptu show of solidarity, the staff accompanied Muhs as she left the building for the final time. “Everyone walked out with her as a show of respect,” reporter Dean Olsen said. “We all gave her a hug and applauded for her and thanked her for the stand that she was taking. … People are crying.” Olsen said Muhs told her staff on Friday that she was leaving partly in hopes of avoiding more layoffs at a paper that has been decimated by staff cuts. “I think her hope was, by not having her salary to pay, her hope would be that there would be no layoffs,” said Olsen, who wasn’t present when Muhs announced her departure last week. “She was a very good editor, and she tried to promote good journalism in Springfield, despite some pretty trying circumstances that she had to deal with from GateHouse Media (the paper’s corporate owner).” Muhs declined to say what she told her staff, but she said she wasn’t expecting colleagues to walk out of the building with her. “I was very touched,” Muhs said. “I didn’t expect that. … I have tremendous respect and admiration for the State Journal-Register staff. They’re dedicated. They’re hard working. They care about doing quality local journalism, and they persevered under some really tough conditions.” Muhs lasted five years as editor of the State Journal-Register, coming to Springfield from a media company in Maine. For the second year in a row, the SJ-R this spring was named GateHouse Newspaper of the Year for its circulation division. In 2017, Muhs was named Editor of the Year in the SJ-R’s circulation division in a company-wide contest. GateHouse Media, which bought the SJ-R in 2007 and promised “hyperlocal” coverage, publishes more than 150 daily papers and is one of the nation’s biggest newspaper companies. “Angie Muhs exemplifies everything one could ask for from an editor,” wrote former SJ-R publisher and president wrote when Muhs won the 2017 editor of the year award. “She is deeply connected to her community, constantly looks for ways the SJ-R can be a leader in community engagement, demands excellence from her team and works tirelessly to ensure deliver (sic) quality, impactful content to our readers every day.” The praise remains posted at www.bestofgatehouse.com, the company web page dedicated to its contests. Gracing GateHouse Media’s home page is a photo of Abraham Lincoln impersonators taken by Rich Saal, the paper’s longtime photo editor who was laid off two weeks ago, the latest cut for a paper that has seen plenty. In 2012, newsroom employees, voted 26-4 to form a union after the paper laid off the entire copy desk. There are five news reporters left, and several beats, including courts, police and education, no longer have fulltime reporters assigned to them. Muhs declined to discuss staff cuts, but she praised Saal, saying he was one of the best photojournalists she’s ever worked with. She’s been vocal in the past about her feelings while GateHouse sliced her staff. Last September, amid a round of cuts, Muhs tweeted a quote from New York Times publisher A.G. Sulzberger, who said “You cannot cut the value of the product you give readers and expect them to reward you with growth.” Muhs included her own take: “Amen. If only all owners heeded these words.” Olsen said Muhs appeared emotional as she left the building for the last time. “I think she’s tried to fight within the channels of GateHouse to try to preserve the staff,” Olsen said. “I don’t know how successful she’s been. I know it’s been very frustrating for her. Her heart is in this. She quit without a job lined up. I think that says a lot right there.)

https://www.pewtrusts.org/en/research-and-analysis/blogs/stateline/2019/05/14/behind-the-movement-to-kick-chicago-out-of-illinois
(FROM THE ARTICLE: In Illinois, a resolution calling on Congress to declare Chicago the 51st state has eight Republican cosponsors in the state House (there are 44 Republicans in the lower chamber) and support among many of the state’s conservative activists. It’s the second such bill in as many years. Illinois state Rep. Brad Halbrook, the bill’s author, cites the many issues tearing the state apart. He listed Democrats’ “overreaching” stances on abortion, guns, immigration, debt, pensions, Medicaid spending, property taxes, green energy and workers’ compensation as just some of the reasons Chicago and Illinois should go their separate ways. Recent polling from the Paul Simon Public Policy Institute at Southern Illinois University Carbondale shows two-thirds of Illinois voters think the state is moving in the wrong direction. That same March poll from the Simon Institute shows “significant regional differences” in responses. The state division hit a breaking point several years ago, when Illinois was mired in the longest fiscal stalemate in the United States since the Great Depression. The budget battle between Democratic lawmakers and then-Republican Gov. Bruce Rauner lasted more than two years, threatening public university accreditation, statewide road construction and “junk” credit ratings. Halbrook blamed the impasse on Chicago-area Democrats. “Everywhere I go, people say we just need to get rid of Chicago,” he told Stateline. “It gets rid of all of our problems. My constituency is serious about it. I’m trying to save the state.” Halbrook has a small family farm in Shelbyville, a rural community along the Kaskaskia River in central Illinois with around 4,600 residents. New Illinois? Forty percent of the Prairie State’s 12.7 million residents live in Cook County, the county surrounding Chicago. The broader Chicago metropolitan area consists of 9.5 million people. Without the Chicagoland area, Illinois would have fewer people than Connecticut. Democrats control both chambers of the General Assembly and the governor’s office, and most of them are from Chicagoland — including 62 of the 74 Democrats in the House. The rest of Illinois is largely agricultural and conservative, aside from the parts of Illinois near St. Louis in neighboring Missouri and pockets of central Illinois. A July 2018 paper from the Simon Institute found that Illinois’ politics “are marked and marred by regionalism.” The idea of dividing Illinois has been around throughout Illinois’ history, the paper says, despite “how impractical it is.” While these regional divides are prevalent in other states across the country, it’s exaggerated in Illinois because of “the extent to which many Illinois leaders emphasize, exploit and exacerbate these regional differences for their own advantage,” the paper claims. The Windy City has all the political power, the money and the economic growth, said G.H. Merritt, who runs New Illinois, a separation group that has begun starting chapters in counties throughout the state to build grassroots support. Merritt, a former nonprofit administrator, lives in Lake County, north of Chicago. So far, she has 26 county chapters that want to split the rest of Illinois from Chicago. When forming her organization, Merritt sought advice from other state separation organizations, like New California. The group, which is run by a conservative radio talk show host, advocates for the creation of a new state split from the Los Angeles and San Francisco areas “to throw off the bonds of tyranny.” Activists such as Merritt blame state Democratic leaders from Chicago for creating a “systemically corrupt climate” and many of the problems Illinois currently faces, like the $134 billion in unfunded pensions and other fiscal problems — despite the fact that these problems grew through both Democratic and Republican governorships.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: “Research isn’t cheap and it’s not easy,” said Di Resta, president and CEO of The Maccabee Group. “You don’t do that if you don’t believe someone is a real contender.” Di Resta, who teaches a course on opposition research at George Washington University, said “oppo research” isn’t new but has become more “institutionalized.” “This is standard operating procedure now when either the mayor or a city commissioner decides to run for office,” he said. “It’s pretty standard to see these Freedom of Information Act requests going out.” Di Resta noted congressional communications are not subject to FOIA, “so the big-name senators won’t undergo the same level of scrutiny when it comes to FOIAs as the mayor, which is an interesting angle because here’s a guy who’s supposedly not experienced enough or whatever, but all his communications are eligible to be reviewed by opponents.” None of the records requestors would comment for this story when contacted by The Tribune.)

I should write a book on how my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 in Wheaton has changed since my wife and I had our home built at 915 Cove Court in 1984. From what I see, tragically, 4 out 5 times that a home is sold, it goes from conservative Republican to liberal Democrat. Ever-increasingly, liberal Democrats see DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton a) as moving to the left and b) being welcoming safe places for them. Ever-increasingly, they see DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton leaders failing/refusing to defend/advance the traditional family, right to life, immigration, Second Amendment, illegal drugs, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks in the Illinois Republican Party (IRP) platform and in the Republican Party platform. In my precinct, they see how the IRP, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and Milton Township Republican Central Committee treat conservative Republicans like me.)

Since 1984, I have spent hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars for my home at 915 Cove Court in Wheaton a) making lot drainage improvements including installing French drains and storm sewer inlets, b) paying for an overhead sewer system, c) paying to have all nine of the home’s downspouts directly connected to the city storm sewer system, d) patching long wide cracks in the basement floor, e) having the home’s exterior footing tiles cleaned out, f) properly connecting 6″ and 4″ drainage tile lines from uphill properties to the city storm sewer system, g) installing battery backup sump pumps, h) etc. The builder a) put steel reinforcement rods in the foundation walls to compensate for cracked foundation footings and b) installed interior footing tiles.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A week before the maggots hatched, raw sewage gushed into Lori Burns’ basement for the sixth time in a decade. Her brick bungalow in the Chatham neighborhood was among thousands of Chicago homes swamped by another rainstorm that overwhelmed the city’s aging sewer system. This particular downpour ended up as one of the worst on record. Two months’ worth of rain fell in two days during April 2013 — a storm marked by geysers of human waste bursting out of manholes, and a torrent of sewage and runoff surging through the Chicago River into Lake Michigan.)

HERALD & REVIEW
— Decatur collected $6 million from video gambling. One city official says ‘this is not what we bargained for.’ – JAYLYN COOK
https://herald-review.com/news/local/govt-and-politics/decatur-collected-million-from-video-gambling-one-city-official-says/article_0cccbb64-0826-58fd-aa08-d378db8ee7c3.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Anita Bedell, executive director of Illinois Church Action on Alcohol and Addiction Problems, said there have been successful attempts by municipalities to oppose or overturn the presence of video gambling in Illinois. An example she referenced happened in Forest Park, which voted to outlaw video gaming in November after initially allowing it in the community . . .Bedell said the data surrounding losses is a sign that people are addicted to the gambling and play several times a day with no return on investment. The National Council on Problem Gambling said two million, or 1%, of adults in the United States are estimated to meet criteria for pathological gambling in a given year. Another four to six million adults would be considered problem gamblers, meaning they don’t meet the full diagnostic criteria for pathological gambling, but meet one or more of the criteria and are experiencing problems due to their gambling behavior. The NCPG also said most adults who choose to gamble are able to do so responsibly. Bedell said it’s tough for those addicted to gambling in Illinois to find the support they need. “The state has very little money for treatment and prevention,” she said. “A lot of the times what people have are Gamblers Anonymous meetings. They have quite a few in northern Illinois, but in central, it’s sparse.” Bedell said the prevalence of video gaming machines in places like restaurants, grocery stores and other venues has taken the need for visiting a casino away from people and allowed them to “gamble more and lose more.” Whobrey said he notices the effect gambling has on some people. He calls the machines at the VFW post a “necessary evil” because they provide a financial boost, but can also drive people to spend money that they may not have. “Some people come here, don’t buy a thing and spend it on gaming,” he said. “But the money helps us provide services for the veterans … It’s kept here in Decatur. That’s a big thing.”)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: The DNC, which is running the debates, has said that to qualify for the June 26-27 debates in Miami, candidates must either raise money from at least 65,000 donors, including a minimum of 200 each in 20 states, or achieve at least 1% in three national or early primary-state polls. Each debate will have a maximum of 10 participants, and the requirements will be used to determine placement for both the June event, as well as a second pair of debates in Detroit in July. — Boston’s demographic shift favors minority candidates Could swing future mayoral race – RICK SOBEY (DIERSEN: Ever-increasingly, Democrats and Democrat plants, Libertarians and Libertarian plants, Greens and Green plants, and RINOs hint/imply/argue/shout that because of demographic trends in America, in Illinois, in DuPage County, in Milton Township, in Glen Ellyn, and in Wheaton, the Republican Party, the Illinois Republican Party, the DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and the Milton Township Republican Central Committee should dump voters, dump activists, dump candidates, dump elected officials, dump party leaders, dump major donors, dump political consultants, dump etc. who are Trump supporters, Protestant, conservative, patriotic, Republican, American, White, male, older, non-poor, gun owners, German American, draft avoiders, and those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time.)

WATERTOWN DAILY TIMES
— Why are some people down on Joe Biden? – Ed Rogers (DIERSEN: If there are people who are down on you and down on those who share your demographics, why is that? My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes hint/imply/argue/shout that the more of the following that you are, the more unpopular that you are: Trump supporter, Protestant, conservative, patriotic, Republican, American, White, male, older, rich, gun owner, German American, draft avoider, and/or if your ancestors have been in America for a long time. The more of the aforesaid that you are, the more that Democrats and Democrat plants, Libertarians and Libertarian plants, Greens and Green plants, and RINOs flush you down their toilets.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Today, some on the left are suggesting that “electability” is somehow a dog whistle for proponents of the white patriarchy in much the same way that supporters of Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., called “likability” an unfair barrier at the beginning of this year. “Metrics like authenticity and likability and electability are just code that we use against candidates who are not like what we are used to,” a spokeswoman for Emily’s List told Vox in March.)

LEXINGTON DISPATCH
— Columnists who divide don’t deserve platform – Steve Buckley, Elon
https://www.the-dispatch.com/opinion/20190512/letter-columnists-who-divide-dont-deserve-platform
(FROM THE LETTER: Editor, in your recent Sunday column you wrote, “what I don’t like is politicians who strive to divide their constituents.” What is your position on newspapers that strive to divide their readers? Syndicated columnist Leonard Pitts wrote in the Times-News, “anyone who voted for Trump is a racist and misogynist.” I’d say that is fairly divisive and also inaccurate. Local columnist Jan Fuller, the chaplain at Elon University, wrote recently that all white gun owners are racists. She neglected to mention black gun owners. I have no idea how she pigeonholes them. Sweeping generalizations are never right. Those made by these columnists are very divisive and do not deserve a public platform. Their inclusion in the Times-News helps to divide your readers.)

PEW RESEARCH CENTER
— Americans See Advantages and Challenges in Country’s Growing Racial and Ethnic Diversity Most value workplace diversity, but few want employers to consider race or ethnicity in hiring and promotion decisions – JULIANA MENASCE HOROWITZ (DIERSEN: I should write a book about my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes in Wheaton, in Glen Ellyn, in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois who are Republican, White, male, older, and/or non-veteran but who have NOT been personally adversely impacted by Affirmative Action, Diversity, or Inclusion, that is, who have NOT been personally adversely impacted by political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, or retaliation. The aforesaid include past and present activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. I would focus on the aforesaid who pander to those who are anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-patriotic, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, anti-draft avoiders, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time.)

— Mental decline linked to pro-longed unemployment For some individuals, the notion that they’re producing “good work” is the only thing keeping them from sharp mental decline. – CW HEADLEY (DIERSEN: What do you produce? Do you produce “good work?” I produce a GOPUSA ILLINOIS email each and every morning and evening. My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes focus on demonizing, denigrating, and condemning me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails. I should write a book about them. They include a) past and present Milton Township Republican Central Committee, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, Illinois Republican Party, TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois, Wheaton Chamber of Commerce, Illinois Center Right Coalition, and American Association of Political Consultants Midwest Chapter members and leaders, b) Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois employees and officials, and c) activists, candidates, elected officials, party leaders, major donors, political consultants, etc. who falsely claim to be religions, conservative, and/or Republican.)
