Since these video commentaries are very informative and encouraging, I often share these postings on my own personal social media platforms. One such recent video post deserves much greater attention by a much greater audience. In his video post on Tuesday, August 6th, Darren highlighted some issues that have been on the minds of grass-root conservatives for some time regarding the Illinois Republican Party. He highlights four points that we list below along with the transcript of his commentary. However, the most important call-to-action item – one that will resonate with conservative voters across the state – is the emergence of so-called “Republicans for Harris,” – yes, extreme left-wing Kamala Harris. This program is run through the Institute of Government and Public Affairs at the University of Illinois. Darren’s is absolutely correct to call for a censure of these traitors. Not only should township and county Republican organizations issue resolutions to censure these individuals, so should the Illinois Republican State Central Committee (SCC). Therefore, we encourage you to take action and speak out. The corporate media is celebrating these turncoats and giving them a platform to denigrate the Republican nominee. But people are more likely to say it is important for journalists to share their politics than any other characteristic we asked about. And certain demographic groups place more value than others on the personal traits of their journalists. A 2023 Pew Research Center survey asked Americans how important it is for the journalists they get news from to have six personal characteristics that are similar to their own. About four-in-ten Americans say it is at least somewhat important that they get news from journalists who share their political views (39%). That is nearly double the share who say the same about getting news from journalists who share their religious views (22%) or who talk or sound like them (20%). Smaller shares say they want to get news from journalists who are similar to them in age (15%), share their race or ethnicity (14%), or share their gender (10%). On several of these questions, opinions vary based on respondents’ political views, age and other personal traits. Political views Similar shares of Republicans and Democrats say it is at least somewhat important for the news they get to come from journalists who share their political views. Four-in-ten Republicans and GOP-leaning independents say this, compared with 41% of Democrats and Democratic leaners. When combining party and ideology, people who place themselves at either end of the political spectrum are more likely than those toward the center to say journalists’ politics are important. Roughly half each of conservative Republicans (47%) and liberal Democrats (50%) say it is important that the news they get comes from journalists who share their politics. Smaller shares of liberal and moderate Republicans (29%) and conservative and moderate Democrats (33%) hold this view. A year-long research project conducted by a special commission at a public university think tank has uncovered the unbelievable details behind a costly Department of Defense (DOD) initiative to root out so-called white privilege white supremacy in the military. The study, conducted by the Center for American Institutions at Arizona State University (ASU), began as a review of civic education in the military and uncovered a fervent woke movement throughout the nation’s armed forces. “Our research team did not expect to find Critical Race Theory so embedded and pervasive,” the center’s director, Donald T. Critchlow, an ASU American political history professor, writes in the introduction of a recently published report. He confirms that there is CRT and DEI training across the military from the Pentagon through the ranks. It is important to note that the sole purpose of the U.S. armed forces is to defend the nation against external enemies, therefore the DOD’s mission is to provide the military forces needed to deter war and ensure the country’s security. The agency is the government’s largest with 3.4 million service members and civilians—in the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force and Coast Guard—stationed at 4,800 sites in over 160 countries. They crowed that they had children. They stressed that their wives had little or no income and that it cost lots of money to raise children.
