DAILY CALLER
— Anti-Trump Nutjob Arrested For Murder Of GOP Committeeman Neighbor – RYAN SAAVEDRA  (DIERSEN: What does your Republican Precinct Committeeman/Captain have to say about this?  From what I see, the more of the following that your Republican Precinct Committeeman/Captain is, the more danger that he/she is in: Trump supporter, Protestant, conservative, White, male, older, rich, gun owner, German American, draft avoider, and ancestors have been in America for a long time. Further, the fewer votes that Trump got and the more votes that Clinton got in his/her precinct, the more danger your Republican Precinct Committeeman/Captain is in.  Trump got only 137 votes in my precinct and Clinton got 211.)
http://dailycaller.com/2017/08/10/anti-trump-nutjob-arrested-for-murder-of-gop-committeeman-neighbor/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A man described by neighbors as “quarrelsome” and who placed large anti-Trump signs in his yard is in police custody for the murder of his next-door neighbor – a GOP committeeman. Police in West Goshen Township, PA, charged Clayton Carter, 51, in the shooting death of his next-door neighbor, G. Brooks Jennings in the early morning hours on Tuesday, according to ABC Philadelphia. The conflict began on Monday evening when police officers responded to a dispute between Carter and Jennings that involved cursing and video recording in one of their backyards. Police de-escalated the conflict around 8 p.m. and left. Shortly after midnight, police say another conflict erupted between the two neighbors as Carter claims that Jennings shined a light into his eyes. Carter purportedly told police that he then drove his car onto his lawn and shined the car’s high beams towards Jennings. Investigators say it was at this point when Carter went into his home and grabbed a .380 semi-automatic pistol and confronted Jennings. Carter allegedly shot Jennings in the head, knocking him to the ground, and then stood over his body and shot him in the head again. Police say the victim Carter shot Jennings on Jennings property. One neighbor described Jennings, a GOP committeeman, as “the nicest, best guy I’ve ever met in my whole life.” Those same neighbors described Carter, who apparently had a history of conflict with multiple neighbors — including pulling a gun on Jennings in the past — as someone they avoided because of his volatile behavior. “We steered clear of him. We were frightened of him [Carter] because he’s so unpredictable,” another neighbor said speaking about Carter. Neighbors described his front yard as being crowded with cars and anti-Trump signs that he made himself. Many of the conflicts between Carter and his neighbors were apparently not political, but personal. Police charged Carter with multiple crimes including first-degree murder which makes him ineligible for bail in the state of Pennsylvania.)

— The Illinois Pension Scam: State Officials (Including Conservatives) Have Known About it for Many Years – John Biver
https://illinoisfamily.org/politics/illinois-pension-scam-state-officials-including-conservatives-known-many-years/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Leslie Heffez’s current annual pension is $581,227. Leslie paid in $768,611, and can expect to get out $21,945,104 in lifetime benefits based upon life expectancy averages. Das Gupta’s current annual pension is $494,773. It took only one year for Das to recoup everything he paid into the system, which was $475,331. He could receive $5,290,301 before the grim reaper comes calling. Herand Acarian gets $392,682 every year. Not bad for having paid in only $628,987, and with a good long life, Herand could get back $6,843,239 or more. Eddie Williams wins the $200k column, bringing in six times the annual average Illinois household income (which is approximately $50k) at $299,991. Eddie coughed up a whole $277,792 to invest into the system, and has already received $842,452 in benefits.  (Please read those numbers again.) If he stays healthy, he could cash in for as much as $5,527,649 over his lifetime. After flipping through over four full pages of pensions exceeding $200,000, Rick Taylor tops off the $100-k’ers at an annual pension of $199,909. For the record, Ricky paid in $229,400, has already received $1,162,854 (he retired at age 56), and life expectancy charts could gift him $7,267,441 or more if he eats right and gets enough exercise.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Illinois Republican Party Executive Director Nick Klitzing isn’t surprised by the move. “It says something about their lack of a commitment to agriculture,” Klitzing said. “It says something about their lack of commitment of having regular people who aren’t party bigwigs, who don’t give tons of money.” Klitzing said it’s another example of things being run with an iron fist by Madigan, the longtime party leader. “The same way that he rules as the speaker of the House of the state legislature is exactly the same way he rules the Democratic Party of Illinois,” Klitzing said. Republicans still plan a rally during Governor’s Day Wednesday, Aug. 16. Democrats also didn’t host a statewide convention in 2016. These gatherings feature speeches from various party leaders. Klitzing said these types of events are important for the party faithful. “Those opportunities at a convention and meetings, it gives people, regular people, an opportunity to meet their legislators,” Klitzing said, “to meet their elected officials, to interact with them and voice their opinions.”)

UIC admitted me in 1966 when I was 18, but I doubt that IIT would admit me today if I was 18.  In addition to being White, my other bad demographics include my being baptized, raised, and confirmed as a Missouri Synod Lutheran, I am conservative, I am Republican, I am American, I am a male, I have never been poor, I am 100% German-American, I avoided the draft, and my ancestors have been in America since the 1840s.)
https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/01/us/politics/trump-affirmative-action-universities.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The Trump administration is preparing to redirect resources of the Justice Department’s civil rights division toward investigating and suing universities over affirmative action admissions policies deemed to discriminate against white applicants, according to a document obtained by The New York Times. The document, an internal announcement to the civil rights division, seeks current lawyers interested in working for a new project on “investigations and possible litigation related to intentional race-based discrimination in college and university admissions.” The announcement suggests that the project will be run out of the division’s front office, where the Trump administration’s political appointees work, rather than its Educational Opportunities Section, which is run by career civil servants and normally handles work involving schools and universities. The document does not explicitly identify whom the Justice Department considers at risk of discrimination because of affirmative action admissions policies. But the phrasing it uses, “intentional race-based discrimination,” cuts to the heart of programs designed to bring more minorities to university campuses. Supporters and critics of the project said it was clearly targeting admissions programs that can give members of generally disadvantaged groups, like black and Latino students, an edge over other applicants with comparable or higher test scores.)

IRS hired me in 1971 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. The Post Office hired me in 1966 because it could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, or veteran who would take the job. (FROM THE ARTICLE: In 1978 the average chief executive at a large company was paid 26 times more than the average worker. By 2014, depending on your method of calculation, he was paid 300 to 700 times more. It has become standard for a CEO to make more than $10 million a year, and a few make more than $100 million. These aren’t founders or major shareholders but hired guns, managers playing with house money. It is not like this everywhere. In the U.K., the fifth largest economy in the world, the pay ratio of CEO to average worker is 84 to 1. In Japan, the third largest, it’s 16 to 1.)

— Millennials want their dream home now – not in 20 years – Angus Raine  (DIERSEN: Where are you on the “property ladder?” My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always been are filled with envy.  They are furious a) that I bought a new town home in University Park when I was 24 in 1972, that I bought a studio condo in downtown Chicago when I was 25, and that I bought a one bedroom condo in downtown Chicago when I was 27 and b) that my wife and I bought 1017 East Harrison in Wheaton when I was 29 and that we had 915 Cove Court built in Wheaton when I was 35.)
http://moneymag.com.au/millennials-dream-home/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: When I bought my first home in the late 1980s, I didn’t care that it was ramshackle, I just wanted to get my foot on the property ladder. Now you hardly ever hear the term ‘property ladder’, and millennials want their dream family home now – not in 20 years. But that’s how long it took me to progress through a series of houses until I bought my current family home. I’m calling for a cultural shift: we need to return to viewing property ownership as a long-term, gradual strategy. So, if you’re a first-home buyer, just how do you climb the property ladder? First, you might need to rethink your expectations of a first home. Buying in the best location you can afford is more important than getting the perfect home immediately. And while many people think that the next logical step is to buy a bigger house, you are better off moving to progressively better locations. That will build value faster than graduating to bigger homes in the same suburb and will take you to the next rung on your journey up the property ladder.)

http://www.dailyherald.com/news/20170731/state-cuts-2017-funds-for-voter-registration-integrity
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Local election authorities will lose more than $4.4 million in grant funds this year that pay for, among other things, purging ineligible names from voter registration rolls. But officials say they are used to the roller coaster nature of election funding. Amy Kelly, the assistant to the executive director of the Illinois State Board of Elections, notified county clerks of the bad news at the beginning of July. Six election bodies applied for at least $100,000 from what’s known as the IVRS Lump Sum Grant. In addition to voter registration integrity, the grant helps fund voter registration equipment and corresponding software licensing fees. The grant typically functions as a reimbursement for money already spent for such efforts. The money for 2017 became one of the many funding casualties in the state budget debate.)

In addition to changing jobs, Curran chose not to enroll in the pension fund covering the Illinois General Assembly. “I have turned it down,” he said. All during the time (2000-2005) that Diersen v. GAO (https://gopillinois.com/documents/) was pending in the federal courts in Chicago, Dennis Hastert was the Speaker of the House, Peter Fitzgerald was my U.S. Senator, and Henry Hyde was my U.S. Representative.  One could conclude that Hastert, Fitzgerald, and Hyde sided with the Democrats who ran GAO, that is, that Hastert, Fitzgerald, and Hyde favored patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation for complaining about the aforesaid a) because Fitzgerald appointed both the district court judge in the case (Amy St. Eve) and the attorney who represented GAO (Patrick Fitzgerald), b) because GAO never offered to settle, c) because the district court denied my 7th Amendment rights and granted GAO summary judgment, and d) because the appellate court upheld that decision. Hyde may have tried to help me with my lawsuit against GAO because in 1989, he intervened for me, and if he had not done that, the Democrats who ran GAO back then might have succeeded in getting rid of me.  My critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always sided with the Democrats who ran/run GAO.)
