I only just barely made it into the upper 20% of my high school class. Instead of studying, I spent far too many hours a) delivering mail while I was a UIC and NIU student 1966-1969, b) selling tires, automotive services, and major appliances while I was a UIC student in 1971, c) pumping gasoline while I was a Loyola student in 1972, d) collecting delinquent taxes while I was a Loyola and DePaul student 1972-1980, and e) auditing federal agencies while I was a DePaul student in 1980 and an IIT student 1992-1997.
