— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD: Student enrollment at Illinois’ regional universities is plummeting. Under the Democrats and under the RINOs, demographics trump everything. I earned a) a bachelor’s degree when I was 21, b) master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, c) professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 46, and 48, and d) a professional license when I was 32 I spent a tremendous amount of time and money doing the aforesaid. But could I find the motivation to do the aforesaid if I was young today? From what I see, fewer and fewer and fewer of those share demographics seek college degrees, professional certifications, and professional licenses. From what I see, it is because of ever-increasing Affirmative Action and DEI, that is, it is because of ever-increasing race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, and national origin discrimination. Young people with my demographics ever-increasingly believe that it is not only not worth the effort, but that it is impossible. From what I see, ever-increasingly, America is up-or-out for those who share my demographics. If you share my demographics, you are written off and gotten rid of if you are not making say $150,000+/year by age 25, $200,000+/year by age 30, $250,000+/year by age 35, $400,000+/year by age 40, etc. In the federal government, the earnings deadlines are $117,807 by age 25, $139,211 by age 30, $163,749 by age 35, and $195,200 by age 40. Extremely few of those who share my demographics are able to meet those earnings deadlines. Because of my demographics and because I did not make any of the aforesaid earnings deadlines, my Democrat superiors in the federal government wasted my career and got rid of me.
