But when I started my junior year, I decided to earn a bachelor’s degree at UIC while living with my parents in Crete. I took a job washing dishes in Chicago Heights to earn money to buy a new car to commute in. I took college preparatory courses. I got an ACT score of 24. I graduated in the upper 20% of my class. UIC accepted me. I got a job working for the Park Forest Post Office. I took courses at UIC 1966-1968. I transferred to NIU in 1969. My career was harmed a) because I did not earn an MBA until I was 27, b) because I did not take and pass the CPA examination until I was 30, c) because I did not earn a master’s degree in accounting until I was 31, d) because I did not take and pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination until I was 32, e) because I did not become a licensed CPA until I was 32, f) because I did not earn additional professional certifications until I was 41, 45, 47, and 48, and g) because I did not earn a master’s degree in finance until I was 48. I did not accomplish the aforesaid sooner because I took only one graduate evening course at a time earning the aforesaid master’s degrees. I took only one course at a time because that was what I could afford and I wanted my Firestone Stores, IRS, and GAO jobs to be my main focus.  I completed 16 graduate business courses at Loyola 1972-1976, 12 graduate accounting courses at DePaul 1976-1980, and 14 graduate finance courses at IIT 1992-1997. – Dave Diersen

— Minorities vote for Democrats. Democrat leaders ever-increasingly replace Whites with minorities. My Democrat employers would have hired and promoted minorities instead of me if they could have. The Democrats who ran the Post Office in 1966, IRS in 1971, and GAO hired me because they could not find a qualified minority who would take the job. IRS promoted me in 1972, 1973, and 1974 instead of minorities because of my performance appraisals and because I was taking graduate evening business courses while none of my minority coworkers were doing that. GAO promoted me in 1986 instead of a minority because of my performance appraisals and because I had earned an MBA in 1976, passed the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, earned a master’s degree in accounting in 1980, passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, and became a licensed CPA in 1981 while none of my minority coworkers had done that. My Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire when I was 49 in 1997 and replaced me with a minority. He had less work experience than I had, had less education than I had, had one professional certification while I had six, and had no professional license like I did. – Dave Diersen
