— NOVEMBER 23, 2015 FLASHBACK: Some primary races shaping up in DuPage – Robert Sanchez (DIERSEN: The 30 candidates who were in line before 8:00 AM this morning in the following order were: Bucholz, Grogan, Berlin, Kachiroubas, Jorgensen, Holz, Olsen, Noonan, Bila, Sejnost, Krajewski, Tornatore, Diersen, Puchalski, Hinz, Novak, Anderson, Redick, Elliott, Wehrli, Falbo, Schultz, Blass, Moore, Dabrowski, Kordik, Larsen, Healy, Fisher, and Minor. Whelan, Zanis, and Grant got in line shortly after 8:00 AM. Of the aforesaid, the following 10 candidates will be on March 15, 2016 Republican primary ballots in my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 9 and I gathered nominating petition signatures for them: Bucholz, Grogan, Berlin, Kachiroubas, Jorgensen, Diersen, Elliott, Moore, Whelan, and Grant. In addition, I gathered signatures for the following 7 candidates: Kirk, Roskam, Munger, Ives, Brennan, Fullerton, and Telander who will also be on the Republican primary ballots in my precinct; they either have filed in Springfield or will file in Springfield. I gathered a total of 761 signatures for the aforesaid 17 candidates from 44 households in my precinct.)

Since 2009, I have been legally responsible for my 87-year-old aunt who has Alzheimer’s. She has lived in an assisted living facility since 2010 that currently costs $230/day. She did not attend college, she never married, she never had children, she had low-paying data entry jobs, she lived frugally, and she saved more than $600,000 for her retirement. But her retirement savings will be exhausted much sooner if the Republicans succeed in forcing her to pay income tax by taking away the medical deduction.)
