https://www.breitbart.com/sports/2020/02/02/social-media-uses-super-bowl-pepsi-half-time-to-push-racial-division/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Aside from those wondering just what the heck Shakira was doing with her tongue during Super Bowl LIV’s Pepsi halftime show, one of the most posted social media comments was attempts to deepen racial division in the country. A scroll through Twitter, for instance shows thousands of users claiming some people, particularly white people, must have been furious that the stars of the show were two powerful Latinas, singers Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, and that they sang most of their lyrics in Spanish. Naturally, Trump was also a common target:)

— A Scrappy Iowa Start-Up Is the ‘It’ Read for Political Insiders Iowa Starting Line began as a man and his laptop. It’s now a rare success story in the ailing world of local news. – Michael M. Grynbaum (DIERSEN: Please see Schoenburg’s August 16, 2012 article on me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS emails at: https://www.sj-r.com/x1782330063/Bernard-Schoenburg-A-bunch-of-political-info-daily )
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/31/business/media/iowa-caucus-media-starting-line.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: The best political journalism you’ve never heard of is coming from a scrappy start-up in the East Village. The East Village of Des Moines, that is. Iowa Starting Line, a no-frills news outlet that started out as a rookie reporter and his Twitter account, is the new must-read of the 2020 campaign. Elite reporters follow it. Candidates care about it. And at a painful time in the local news business, its six-person staff has started to rival The Des Moines Register for scoops and influence in the first-in-the-nation presidential caucus. “If I want to know what’s happening on the ground in Iowa, I’m clicking on The Register or Iowa Starting Line, and not necessarily in that order,” said Tim Alberta, Politico’s chief political correspondent. At a recent debate night in Des Moines, Starting Line’s founder and editor, Pat Rynard, an unassuming Missourian in a blazer and checked shirt, was surrounded by network news reporters seeking the latest political gossip. Dave Weigel, a national writer for The Washington Post, told Mr. Rynard he reads the site to stay current. “It’s so the locals don’t think, ‘This East Coast schmuck doesn’t know anything,’” Mr. Weigel quipped. Mr. Rynard, 34, is a genial former Democratic operative who left his job in 2015 to try his hand at journalism. Now his team of five reporters — some barely out of college — is bigger than the political staffs at many of the state’s newspapers, which have been badly hurt by layoffs. Starting Line, which is donor- and ad-supported, opened its first newsroom in June in Des Moines’s hip East Village district. (Before that, Mr. Rynard was a solo act, editing from home with his dachshund, Franklin, at his feet.) The stark décor is, almost accidentally, start-up chic: concrete floors, industrial lighting, a bare-bones podcast room where Jane Sanders, wife of Bernie, was a recent guest.)

According to my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes, I was able to pass the tests that I did, including passing the CPA examination and the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt and all the tests necessary to earn three job-related master’s degrees, because I unfairly benefitted from a) discrimination against Whites and against women, b) my parents having enough money to send me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School 1953-1961 and then to Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod, c) my avoiding the draft, and d) my having good health.)

MIAMI HERALD
— Column on retaining younger workers crossed the line – MARCELO SALUP (DIERSEN: All my critics/opponents promote age discrimination. I should write a book about them. I would focus on those who have lots or religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois. I would focus on those who paint themselves as being religious, conservative, and/or Republican.)
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/business/biz-monday/article239719918.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: As a long time (and older) reader, I feel truly insulted by James Cassel’s article about retaining younger workers published in Business Monday on Jan. 27. Basically, he’s saying that old workers ought to just vanish into the sunset and uses dog-whistle phrases like: These “diehards” have varying motivations for extending their careers. They “may feel” they still have much to offer. You may also need to work with senior-level people to “alter their positions” Imagine you had to explain to white workers why “diehard” black workers are in the way? Or male workers why “diehard” females are in the way? Or tell a black worker you have to “alter his position” because a white guy wants it. Did it escape your Miami Herald [editors] that age discrimination is illegal? Immoral? My opinion as a 40-year reader of the Herald? Cassel is the one that should be (forcibly) marched into the sunset.)

FEDERAL NEWS NETWORK
— Should GAO get more funding? Some think so (DIERSEN: The Democrats who run GAO wasted my career and forced me to take their early retirement “offer” in 1997 when I was 49 years old. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, minority, female, and/or veteran.)
https://federalnewsnetwork.com/federal-drive/2020/02/should-watchdog-agency-get-more-funding-some-think-so/

NEWS ONE
— How Closing The Racial Wealth Gap Would Change Black History (DIERSEN: What would your superiors say that they did to fight the racial wealth gap? My Democrat GAO superiors would stress that they forced me to retire in 1997 when I was 49 years old, gave me unfair performance expectations and appraisals, always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance purposes, did not promote me beyond GS-13, got rid of my mentor in 1987, kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for GAO, and forced me to take a $20,157 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS to GAO in 1980. My Democrat IRS superiors would stress that they did not promote me beyond GS-12, disallowed my education deductions in 1978, got rid of my mentor in 1975, and disallowed my partial day per diem claims in 1974. My Democrat Post Office superiors would stress that they forced me resign in 1969 and disallowed my sick leave requests in 1969 and 1968. My aforesaid Democrat superiors would stress that the aforesaid adverse actions that they took against me directly benefited their employees who were minorities.)

NATION
— Can Democrats Win Back Trump Voters—Without Compromising their Soul? Many analysts say Democrats need to score significant swing voter support to win in 2020. The question is whether they can do that without tilting to the center. – Tana Ganeva (DIERSEN: If you are a Republican, what would Democrats stress to you to get you to leave the Republican Party? They would stress to me how the Republican Party in Illinois, in DuPage County, in Milton Township, and in Wheaton ever-increasingly fails/refuses to defend/advance its platform, and especially its traditional family, right to life, immigration, illegal drugs, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks.)

It is a team made up of editors, photographers, artists, reporters and more who keep watch on local affairs and seek out the information that readers use to manage their government and enhance their quality of life.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Who are you, really? That’s a question most employers want to know the answer to. Beyond your cover letter and resume or CV, what are you about? Are you trustworthy, respectful, responsible? Are you a hard worker? Will you follow through on promises? Because most people are on their best behavior during the interview process, it can be hard for hiring managers or employers to tell. So they do the same thing your Bumble date does: they Google you. In particular, they look at your Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social media profiles you have publicly available. Then they browse. Or scope. Or scour. According to a survey by CareerBuilder, a full 70 percent of employers “use social media to screen candidates before hiring.” Even more striking is the follow-on statistic: 54 percent of employers surveyed said they chose not to hire a candidate based on content found on their social media profile(s). Of those hiring managers who chose not to hire someone due to their social media presence, the top reasons given for why were that candidates had:

1. Posted provocative or inappropriate photos, videos or information (39 percent)
2. Posted information about drinking or using drugs (38 percent)
3. Made discriminatory comments related to race, gender, religion (32 percent)
4. Bad-mouthed previous company or fellow employee (30 percent)
5. Lied about qualifications (27 percent)
6. Had poor communication skills: 27 percent
7. Been linked to criminal behavior: 26 percent
8. Shared confidential information from previous employers: 23 percent
9. Had an unprofessional screen name: 22 percent
10. Lied about an absence: 17 percent)

I would focus on those who are/were leaders of the Milton Township Republican Organization, DuPage County Republican Central Committee, and/or Illinois Republican Party. https://www.catholicsun.org/2020/01/16/myopic-view-continues-to-ignore-discount-beliefs-of-millions/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: As someone who has worked for newspapers for years — and not just the Catholic press — I can tell you that pro-life journalists and those who harbor a more traditional, religious viewpoint are rare in most secular media outlets. There’s a silent assumption that opponents of gay marriage are ignorant bigots. The insistence to promote the LGBTQIA ideology is unassailable as editors fret over preferred pronouns and ignore the beliefs of millions of Americans. Who gets interviewed, what gets asked, what’s included and what gets edited out each pass through this biased lens, yielding a myopic, unbalanced view.)

Ever-increasingly, Democrats and RINOs who have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout pressure employers to hire, retain, and promote women, and especially to hire, retain, and promote women who are anti-Trump, anti-Protestant, anti-conservative, anti-patriotic, anti-Republican, anti-American, anti-White, anti-male, anti-older people, anti-rich people, anti-gun owners, anti-German Americans, anti-draft avoiders, and/or anti-those whose ancestors have been in America for a long time.)

CIVIL JURY PROJECT
— The Long Shadow of the Civil Jury – Anna Offit (DIERSEN: How much jury appeal do you have? From what I see, ever-increasingly, the more of the following that you are, the less jury appeal that you have, that is, the more likely that you will lose in court: Trump supporter, Protestant, conservative, Republican, American, White, male, older, non-poor, gun owner, German American, draft avoider, past/present union member, past/present government employee, government retiree, non-dog owner, childless, and/or if your ancestors have been in America for a long time.)
https://civiljuryproject.law.nyu.edu/the-long-shadow-of-the-civil-jury/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Others more explicitly ascribed justice considerations to hypothetical lay decision-makers through references to the “jury appeal” of their cases. In some prosecutors’ formulations, jury appeal assessments were likened to asking, “If I were a juror, what would I think?”— or a practice of weighing whether a “hypothetical juror would feel the case should not be prosecuted even if it legally could be.” To this end, talk of jury appeal allowed sources of concern or ambivalence to be discussed from a position of detachment. In some instances jury appeal was cited in decisions to modify investigations or decline cases altogether.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Since the start of fiscal year 2020 (October 1, 2019-September 30, 2020), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has recovered more than $25 million in monetary relief and secured substantial equitable remedies from employers accused of engaging in unlawful race- and sex-based discrimination and harassment. In fiscal year 2018, the most recent period for which detailed enforcement data is available, the EEOC collected a total of $134 million on behalf of workplace harassment victims alone. While harassing conduct of a sexual nature is perhaps the most well-known form of workplace harassment, especially in light of the global #MeToo movement, it is far from the only kind that may expose an employer to significant risk of legal liability. According to the EEOC, more than 30% of the charges it receives each year include claims of unlawful harassment based on sex, race, disability, age, national origin, and religion (in that order).)

https://www.bizpacreview.com/2020/01/08/michelle-malkin-18-sellout-republican-governors-opt-for-more-migrants-as-sleeper-cell-fear-ramps-up-873368
(FROM THE ARTICLE: My plan to “Keep America Great” is very simple: 1) Stop exporting American soldiers to countries that hate our guts. 2) Stop importing people from countries that hate our guts. When I voted for Donald Trump in 2016, I thought this was the plan. The “America First” champion rightly assailed Barack Obama for recklessly endangering the lives of our soldiers to pursue politically driven endless wars. President Trump promised to build an effective wall on the southern border. He enacted tough travel restrictions, upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court, on visitors from countries whose terror-coddling governments pose national security threats. Yet, here we are at the dawn of 2020 with thousands of U.S. troops headed back to the Stone Age Middle East maw, Mexican drug cartels on the loose while our Border Patrol hands out diapers to illegal immigrants and refugees from around the world — including nearly 1,400 welcomed just last year from the very high-risk countries the Trump travel ban was supposed to block — transforming the nation without the consent of the governed. The leaky block list includes Syria, Iraq and Iran, which launched multiple missiles at U.S. airbases late Tuesday in retaliation for our deadly airstrike last week that killed Quds General Qassem Soleimani. Now, we are on heightened alert here in our homeland with authorities nervous that Hezbollah sleeper cells (which I’ve documented since writing “Invasion” in 2002) might strike from within. Some of you still wonder why I write so frequently and vehemently about our failed immigration and entrance policies. It’s because nothing matters more right now to the survival of our country than the right to determine who gets in and the ability to enforce it. As I reported last year, thanks to an executive order signed by Trump in September, local communities were given the explicit opt-in rights to stem the lucrative tide of refugees coming largely from Third World countries and jihadist breeding grounds. This Wednesday, religious “charities” that profit the most from this multi-billion-dollar racket will be in court to assert blanket, open-borders veto power over the people. The U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland will hear arguments from vested refugee resettlement interests who oppose Trump’s order requiring government contractors to obtain written consent from all localities and states in which they plan to resettle refugees. The Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society, Church World Service and Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service — three of the nine State Department partners who resettle all refugees — argue that the federal government should prioritize family reunification of foreign refugees over local control. Translation: Americans come last. The lawsuit assails the White House executive order for threatening “to systematically dismantle the organizations — including Plaintiffs — that have spent decades developing networks, expertise, and resources to carry out the American ideal of welcoming refugees.” Those “resources” come from you and me: Tax subsidies that constitute the vast majority of these nonprofit activists’ budgets. Over the past decade, according to an analysis by immigration researcher James Simpson, the three plaintiff groups have raked in the following amounts from the federal refugee resettlement program: –Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Services: $471.6 million (94% from of its budget). –Church World Service: $433.3 million (72% of its budget). –Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society: $186.1 million (54% of its budget). The refugee resettlement contractors, in turn, spread their massive wealth — from both public and private sources — to a galaxy of subcontractors looking to register Democratic voters, fill their pews and recruit new clients and constituents. The “Interfaith Immigration Coalition” holding a protest event after the hearing on Wednesday to support the refugee pipeline includes: Columban Center for Advocacy and Outreach; Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd; U.S. Provinces; Daughters of Charity; Disciples Refugee & Immigration Ministries; Franciscan Action Network; Interfaith Immigration Coalition; Jewish Council for Public Affairs; Leadership Conference of Women Religious; National Advocacy Center of the Sisters of the Good Shepherd; National Council of Jewish Women; Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism; Rise for Refuge; Sisters of Mercy of the Americas – Institute Leadership Team; T’ruah; The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights; The United Church of Chr! ist; and We Are All America. Thanks to pressure from these groups with bottomless budgets and clout, 18 Republican — yes, Republican — governors are also standing against Trump and self-determination in favor of increased refugee settlement, including: Doug Ducey of Arizona, Asa Hutchinson of Arkansas, Eric Holcomb of Indiana, Kim Reynolds of Iowa, Brad Little of Idaho, Mike Parsons of Missouri, Larry Hogan of Maryland, Charlie Baker of Massachusetts, Mike DeWine of Ohio, Kevin Stitt of Oklahoma, Pete Ricketts of Nebraska, Chris Sununu of New Hampshire, Doug Burgum of North Dakota, Kristi Noem of South Dakota, Bill Lee of Tennessee, Gary Herbert of Utah, Jim Justice of West Virginia and Phil Scott of Vermont. The names must be named and the sellouts must be shamed, especially as war breaks out on all fronts. What’s the point of sending young American troops to fight enemies “over there” if we are welcoming them by the tens and hundreds of thousands over here?)

CHICAGO TRIBUNE
— Gov. J.B. Pritzker knows what angry taxpayers need: Legal weed – John Kass (DIERSEN: What do your critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes do? Mine talk and/or act like they a) did smoke pot, b) are smoking pot, c) want to smoke pot, d) want to kill all restrictions on smoking pot, e) want to make money selling pot, and/or f) want governments to take in lots of revenue from the sale of pot. (FROM THE ARTICLE: With economic refugees continuing to flee Illinois — we’ve lost more residents than any state in the U.S. over the decade — taxpayers have waited in vain for the political ruling class to explain how they’ll reverse the Illinois Exodus. But there were no answers from the ruling Democrats, Gov. J.B. Pritzker, House Speaker Mike Madigan and their Illinois Republican handmaidens. Until now. They’ve made weed legal. Logically, it follows that our wise masters want the people of Illinois to get stoned. Get stoned, Illinois. Thanks, Pritzker. Thanks, Boss Madigan. You’ve made Illinois into the Land of the Lotus-Eaters. What this means is that angry Illinois taxpayers can finally stop being angry. We can forget our mental anguish at being left behind in the Illinois Exodus by smarter, luckier people who got out when they could. All this reminds me of the companions of Odysseus in the land of the lotus-eaters. Once they bit into the lotus fruit, they lost their anger and wrath. They sat down and went to sleep. And taxpayers who remain in Illinois may legally sit in passive stupor before their video screens, waiting for Grubhub to bring Baja Blast from Taco Bell and playing “Call of Duty” until dawn. But don’t think I’m being critical of pot smokers. And medical marijuana users? I don’t mean you. If weed helps soothe your pain, do what’s best.)

I would focus on those who promote dependency on government, dependency on charity, LGBTQ activity, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, booze, gambling, pot, and other vices, abolition of the First and Second Amendments, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, and retaliation for opposing the aforesaid.)

(FROM THE ARTICLE: But ask the veteran Northwest Side lawmaker what he sees as the biggest change, and he replies: the digitalization of democracy — the growing influence of social media to affect policy combined with a decline in the number of media outlets covering state government. “It’s the difference from a representative democracy to a direct democracy,” Cullerton said. “So, the old model (for voters) is, ‘I’m busy. I’m hiring you. Go down to Springfield. Listen to testimony. Make your informed decisions. Every two years, I’ll check on you,’” he said. “And now, you just go directly to the legislator (who says), ‘We don’t need to listen to any testimony. — The Winnebago County elected job no one wants Precinct committee posts prove tough for party leaders to fill – Isaac Guerrero (DIERSEN: I should write a book about what discourages conservatives like me from serving as a Republican Precinct Committeeman in Milton Township, in DuPage County, and in Illinois. According to this article, in Winnebago County, “Only 86 (23%) people filed to run for 378 precinct committee jobs up for grabs in the March primary.” In DuPage County, Republicans filed for Precinct Committeeman in 364 (39%) of DuPage County’s 930 Precincts. 2 years ago, 470 (51%) filed in those 930 precincts. 39 (57%) filed in Addison Township’s 69 precincts, 23 (56%) filed in Winfield Township’s 41 precincts, 50 (48%) filed in Bloomingdale Township’s 104 precincts, 56 (43%) filed in Milton Township’s 130 precincts, 29 (43%) filed in Wayne Township’s 68 precincts, 63 (40%) filed in Downers Grove Township’s 156 precincts, 48 (35%) filed in York Township’s 136 precincts, 34 (26%) file in Lisle Township’s 129 precincts, and 22 (23%) file in Naperville Township’s 97 precincts.)
https://www.rrstar.com/news/20191207/winnebago-county-elected-job-no-one-wants
(FROM THE ARTICLE: In the lowest-stakes election this voting cycle, candidates don’t even care if they’re thrown off the ballot. “If someone goes to the trouble of challenging my petitions and I’m thrown off the ballot, I’ll just get appointed after the election,” said county Auditor Bill Crowley, one of many precinct committeemen who didn’t trouble himself with getting the required 10 signatures this year. Precinct committeeman was once a job that aspiring politicians used to get a foot in the door of their party. These days, the elected position draws little interest. That’s understandable given the lack of pay and prestige and the generally minimal responsibilities. There are times, though, when the precinct committeeman plays a critical role. If a state representative dies in office or resigns, committeemen select a replacement. Committeemen historically have served as the foot soldiers of the two major parties, walking their neighborhoods to hand out literature and talk up their candidates. The lack of interest in the job troubles people who understand that committeemen don’t just build their parties from the ground up — they help nourish democracy at the grass roots. “As a precinct committeeperson, I teach people how to vote,” said Rockford Alderwoman Karen Hoffman, D-8, who also serves as a precinct representative in Ward 8, Precinct 3. She’ll be on the March ballot to keep that job. “I go out and I say, ‘OK, guys, if you’re not registered to vote, here’s what you need to do, here’s where you need to go, this is the deadline.’ I speak to people about early voting all the time. My whole purpose is to get out the vote. You’d be surprised how many people don’t understand the voting process. “Hopefully, after listening to me they’ll vote for Democrats — that’s my hope,” Hoffman said. “But I just want people to vote, no matter how they vote, to be a part of the process. My whole purpose is to teach and train people to vote and become involved in the election process. And if you don’t want to do that, then you really shouldn’t complain.” Only 86 people filed to run for 378 precinct committee jobs up for grabs in the March primary. (A committeeman, though elected, is a party official, not a government official.) Nearly a quarter of the 86 didn’t bother to obtain the minimum 10 signatures on their nominating petitions as required by law. Linda Lundquist, running in Ward 8, Precinct 4, is one who takes the job seriously. “When I went knocking door to door collecting signatures, I met some people who shared with me that they don’t like to get involved in politics,” Lundquist said. “But like it or not, we are all involved in politics. Now, whether we choose to be engaged is another matter entirely. But I think that the more of us who are engaged in our government, the more that our government will reflect all of us. Because when we are engaged and when we are involved, our government and our politics becomes so much richer. And the community is richer because the government truly reflects all of us.” Lundquist is something of an overachiever — she obtained nearly 150 signatures. “Wow. That’s a lot of door knocking,” Crowley said. “That’s remarkable.” Crowley obtained just one signature — his own — on his nominating petition. He and dozens of other precinct committee candidates will be elected in March even though they didn’t collect the 10 voter signatures required by state law. A resident of Crowley’s precinct could have filed paperwork by Dec. 9 to challenge the validity of his petition and knock him off the ballot, but no one did. “The trouble is, we can’t get enough people to run for precinct committeeman,” Crowley said. “I mean, we can’t give these positions away. And we’re giving them away.” The job’s low profile doesn’t help, either. “The precinct committee system is a very arcane system and very few people understand how it works,” said Charles Laskonis, chairman of the Winnebago County Democratic Central Committee. “Sometimes, I guess it’s just the political wonks that consider it cool to run for precinct committeeman, just so they can say that they’re part of the political process.” Rock Valley College trustee Gloria Cudia, a Republican, collected nine signatures on her petition to represent Ward 10, Precinct 2 in Rockford. Rockford Alderman Tuffy Quinonez, D-11, obtained only two signatures on his petition to represent Ward 11, Precinct 1. He could have had three signatures if he had simply put his own John Hancock on the petition, but he didn’t bother. Crowley, Cudia and Quinonez said they simply didn’t have time to obtain 10 signatures while juggling hectic schedules as the Dec. 2 filing deadline approached. Crowley knows the drill better than most. He has served as a Democratic precinct committeeman for decades. He’s running for re-election next year to keep his county auditor job. He’s also seeking a precinct committee post in Harlem Township. Even after appointments, however, most precinct positions remain vacant. “Try finding a Democrat who wants to run for Burritt Township precinct committeeman,” said Laskonis, referring to the sparsely populated township that’s home to far more cornstalks than humans and far more registered Republicans than Democrats. “You can’t even find someone to appoint to that job. Maybe there’s someone. But I haven’t found them.” A good precinct committeeman may be hard to find these days, but there’s really no need to worry, said state Sen. Dave Syverson, R-Rockford. “There’s a lot of people out there who volunteer for campaigns and they basically do the role of the precinct committeeman, but without the official title,” Syverson said. “They get out there and they walk door to door and they’re actively supporting party candidates. They’re doing the same work for individual candidates, just not through the local party infrastructure. So it’s really the role of the political party to encourage and help people understand why it’s important to do this grass-roots kind of work.” Either way, there are plenty of benefits to walking around your block and introducing yourself to your neighbors, Lundquist said. “I feel good about Rockford, in general,” Lundquist said. “There’s so many good things happening in Rockford, really. But in my small neck of the woods, in my precinct, I felt so good after knocking on doors and meeting all these people who are my neighbors. “I wish everyone would do this because everyone would feel better about the state of the world,” she said. “You’d see we’re in much better shape than what is sometimes shown to us.”)

— DIERSEN HEADLINE: Hispanics at Harvard unite to protect Hispanics at Harvard. During the 1980s and 1990s, GAO employees who were Republican, White, male, and/or non-veteran who had not made GS-13 (currently $101,176) by age 25, GS-14 (currently $119,559) by age 30, GS-15 (currently $140,634) by age 35, and Senior Executive Service (currently $170,800) by age 40 DID NOT UNITE TO PROTECT THE AFORESAID. Instead, to keep their jobs as long as possible, virtually all of them “cut deals” with their superiors. Most commonly, they agreed to help their superiors get rid of their employees like me who were Republican, White, male, and/or non-veteran who had not made the aforesaid promotion deadlines.

I should write a book about those in Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois who ever-increasingly dump the aforesaid.)

https://www.wsj.com/articles/notable-quotable-diversity-and-inclusion-11578008804
(FROM THE ARTICLE: As regular readers know, I’m up for a merit raise at UCLAW this year and am now required to submit a statement of how I contribute to the University’s goals in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. I have just emailed the statement to the administration. It reads as follows: “Although I am aware and respectful of the many dimensions within which a university properly seeks a diverse faculty and student body, I have long been particularly concerned with the lack of intellectual diversity at the law school. A survey of U.S. law professors in general found that white Democratic professors (both male and female), Jewish professors, and nonreligious professors ‘account for most (or all) of the overrepresentation among racial, gender, religious, and ideological groups in law teaching.’ The groups that ‘account for most of the underrepresentation among racial, gender, religious, and ideological groups in law teaching’ are Republicans (both male and female), Protestants, and Catholics. This disparity persists even though ‘religious and political diversity are probably more important for viewpoint diversity than gender diversity and roughly as important as racial diversity.’)
