(FROM THE ARTICLE: Poverty is no mystery, and it’s easily avoidable. The poverty line that the Census Bureau used in 2016 for a single person was an income of $12,486 that year. For a two-person household, it was $16,072, and for a four-person household, it was $24,755. To beat those poverty thresholds is fairly simple. Here’s the road map: Complete high school; get a job, any kind of a job; get married before having children; and be a law-abiding citizen. How about some numbers? A single person taking a minimum wage job would earn an annual income of $15,080. A married couple would earn $30,160. By the way, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, less than 4 percent of hourly workers in 2016 were paid the minimum wage. That means that over 96 percent of workers earned more than the minimum wage. Not surprising is the fact that among both black and white married couples, the poverty rate is in the single digits. Most poverty is in female-headed households.)

Because her comment about us at Wirepoints, made at an open board meeting, is pretty representative of what we hear from those who don’t like us, let me respond, to her and her kind. At a township board meeting last month, she said, ”Wirepoints is not a legitimate newspaper and is a political propaganda paper, not something that should be brought up in a governmental body.” (1:14 mark.) She was responding to a particular Wirepoints article from February by my colleague Ted Dabrowski highlighting how much taxes had increased and how little private sector incomes had risen in the township. Her “argument” is really just a variation of “arguments” all too common. They’re usually comprised of little more than ad hominems and some way to muzzle us is often the hope. Ms. Jones, you can start by going through our article to see that all our data came from credible, official sources. Which ones were wrong? What evidence do you have to the contrary? We spend extraordinary amounts of time trying to get our facts and numbers right. We use original sources and link to them whenever possible. We routinely publish opinions and analyses we don’t agree with. Our work has been cited approvingly in Barron’s, the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and many other publications. If we get something wrong we correct it, though I’m proud to say we’ve published nothing with a material error I know of in the five years we’ve been around, despite the complexity of what we cover. As for us being political, all of us at Wirepoints forego any campaign activity and political support, but if being fiscal realists is political, so be it. We wear that on our sleeves. We make no effort to hide our contempt for politicians, both Democrats and Republicans like you, who stand against reforms needed to restore Illinois and its municipalities to financial stability. We will see more black-on-white crime, more laws against Christians and men, a total loss of freedom, and destruction of communities. Mark my words, if we don’t stop this attack upon white people, we will become like South Africa where black communists seek to take white farmers’ private land without compensation. Blacks hunt down, torture and kill white farmers, including women and children – and murder one another in the townships. Riots and destruction of property are the norm. Families are destroyed, the economy is hurting, disease is rampant, and there’s a lack of morality or responsibility among the people. We caught a glimpse of this in America under President Obama, the worst and most hated president the country ever experienced. He brought the radical hate group Black Lives Matter and other evil people to the White House regularly. He sowed division, hatred and suspicion toward whites, police, Christians, business owners and men. Race riots, targeted cop killings, and black-on-black murder all increased because he validated criminals and thugs while demonizing and marginalizing the good people. Thankfully, white men and women, and a growing number of “people of color,” woke up and supported the Great White Hope, President Trump. He’s working overtime to Make America Great Again. He’s sending the illegals back, not falling for the media propaganda about the “children” whom criminal adults intentionally brought here. He’s building a big beautiful wall on the border. He gives no play to Black Lives Matter and antifa (Occupy Wall Street communists). Trump is a man of courage and action, with love for the country and no fear. He’s from the old school! Men of other races have been destroyed. Now evil seeks to destroy white men. Although most are still conservative, they’ve grown very weak, afraid to stand up for themselves and what’s right. Their parents let them down. They should watch and learn from the president. On my daily call-in show on Newsmax TV and YouTube, I greet people, “Happy White History Month!” I offer the same wishes while going about my day at the gym, the bank, post office and gas station – “Happy White History Month!” Some are grateful. Most react with laughter, confusion or anger. Many believed that “white history” was observed “every day,” but it’s not – whites are only cast negatively by the children of the lie. Some friends and callers express concern for my safety, fearing a violent backlash against White History Month. We should be wary of violent leftists and white haters, given the incitement by anti-Trump agitators like Maxine Waters (the Wicked Witch of the West), corrupt government officials, media and Hollywood. There are places where it’s not safe to be an open Trump supporter. But the children of the lie proudly tout their beliefs with no sense of shame for being wrong – they’re in your face promoting evil! If you are a child of God, you have no fear. Perfect love, the nature of God, drives out fear. But if you have fear, you are still of your father the devil. In counseling and talking with people, I notice most men and women have fear. ANSWER: GAO claimed to be nonpartisan and independent. My Democrat superiors and Money Magazine had ruined my IRS career. GAO employees are somewhat less demonized, denigrated, and condemned than IRS employees. Because GAO audits IRS, I could use my knowledge of IRS on audits of IRS. I had worked for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years of which at the GS-12 Step 1-5 levels, currently $81,071-$91,880. The GAO staff manager who hired me was confident that he could a) promptly get me assigned to audits of IRS and b) promptly promote me to GS-11 Step 10, currently $87,933, to GS-12 Step 5 salary, currently $91,880, and to GS-13 Step 1, currently $96,403. But soon after I transferred to GAO, that GAO manager was deposed and he was not able to promote me to GS-11 Step 10 until 1981, to GS-12 Step 5 salary until 1982, and to GS-13 Step 1 until 1986. In 1986, he finally succeeded in getting me assigned to audits of IRS. In 1987, his Democrat superiors succeeded in forcing him to retire. To justify their forcing me to take a pay cut to transfer from IRS to GAO, my Democrat GAO superiors dismissed/belittled/badmouthed/demonized/denigrated/condemned a) my knowledge of IRS, b) my passing the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, c) my almost completing the requirements for a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul, and d) my earning a MBA from Loyola in 1976. They would not have done that if I had been a Democrat, a minority, a female, or a veteran. Money Magazine, my Democrat superiors, supervisors, coworkers, and subordinate, and the rest of my critics/opponents, their operatives, and their dupes have always viciously demonized me, viciously denigrated me, and viciously condemned me as being overpaid.)
