— Should more Illinoisans have a college degree? DD: In my opinion, if you can earn a job-related college degree, you should earn one. But it is extremely important to pick the right major. I should have majored in accounting from the beginning. I was able to earn a college degree because I took college preparatory courses at Crete-Monee High School, got an ACT score of 24, graduated in the upper 20% of my class, and got accepted by UIC in 1966 and then by NIU in 1969. I was able to pay for my UIC and NIU expenses by working for 25 months part-time and for 9 months full-time during three summers delivering mail for the Park Forest Post Office. I lived with my parents in their Crete home for 31 months and at NIU for 16 months. I graduated debt-free with a bachelor’s degree in management and owning a 1969 Dodge Charger SE in August of 1970 even though I was not viewed as being college material.

— Both sides of the aisle in the state legislature have agreed home affordability is an issue for Illinois residents in recent weeks. A new program to help first-time home buyers with down payments was announced by Gov. J.B. Pritzker earlier this week. Republicans pitch other solutions. DD: Back in the good old days, that is, back when I was 24 in 1972, I was able to buy a new townhome ( https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/774-Sunset-Ct-5-University-Park-IL-60484/5451474_zpid/ ). The down payment came from the money I earned working for IRS for 15 months and for a Firestone Store part-time for 18 months and full-time for 7 months before that. During that 25 months, I lived with and helped support my mother and brother in her Crete home. The money I earned also enabled me to buy a new 1972 Corvette in 1971 and to pay for four graduate evening business courses at Loyola in 1972. In today’s dollars, my IRS salary was $56,409/year in 1971 and then $68,999year in 1972. According to Zillow, the townhome is currently worth $87,100.

AMERICAN THINKER
— The Unfortunate Truth in Gavin Newsom’s Gaffe Regarding the SATs
https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2026/03/the_unfortunate_truth_in_gavin_newsom_s_gaffe_regarding_the_sats.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Black American youth are today disadvantaged, primarily because the explosive growth of the welfare state, implemented by Newsom’s central planning Democrat forebears like Lyndon B. Johnson dating back to the 1960s, has crippled them. “The welfare state,” writes the late, great Walter E. Williams, “has done to black families what slavery couldn’t do, what Jim Crow couldn’t do, what the harshest racism couldn’t do, and that is to destroy the black family.” The practical result of this effort is on display all around us. The percentage of two-parent black households plummeted in the decades since the 1960s, as subsistence checks provided by daddy-government replaced fathers as the providers for their families. The result has been that many children are growing up in more rudderless, single-parent homes, with young men particularly suffering from the chronic lack of fathers. This has left millions of black Americans trapped in crime-ridden communities and broken public schools. Yes, black Americans are academically disadvantaged, thanks in many ways to Democrat policy and cultural influences that do nothing to promote excellence in education as a virtue. But, sadly, black American students today lag more than Gavin Newsom seems to know or has ever considered, because the SAT score that he cites is significantly higher than the average SAT score of black students in America today. And sadly, largely for the aforementioned reasons, that isn’t saying much.)

I started taking graduate evening finance courses at IIT, and after taking 14 courses, I earned a master’s degree in finance from IIT in 1997. My Democrat GAO superiors had made it clear that they would never again assign me to audits of IRS. My Democrat GAO superior since 1990 had made it clear that she wanted/demanded that her subordinates have master’s degrees in finance. None of her other subordinates had master’s degrees in finance or worked toward one. Further, I became a certified fraud examiner in 1990, government financial manager in 1994, financial services auditor in 1996, and forensic accountant in 1997. Nevertheless, in 1997, she successfully led the effort to force me to retire when I was 49 in 1997.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Early voting numbers are trending up in Illinois before the state’s primary elections Tuesday. Illinois State Board of Elections Public Information Officer Matt Dietrich told The Center Square on Friday that about 250,000 early votes had been cast, slightly higher than the state reported before the 2022 midterm. Dietrich said he is seeing a strong response on vote by mail. “In 2022 we had about 275,000 vote-by-mail ballots cast for the primary. We’re already at 290,000, and we’ll have quite a few of those coming in now and up until two weeks after Election Day that will still be added to that count,” Dietrich said. Dietrich said the state does not track partisan turnout in its pre-election reporting, but Illinois generally sees more Democratic ballots than Republican ballots in primaries. “I would expect that to continue this year, mainly because, first of all, you have a very hotly-contested U.S. Senate race,” Dietrich said. Dietrich said open congressional seats would also draw voters. The Chicago Board of Elections reported more than 123,000 ballots received as of Thursday night, up from under 71,000 five days before the 2022 primary. The Chicago board would not provide a breakdown of votes by party without a Freedom of Information Act request.)

In my defense, I spent the last 18 years of public sector career working for a federal agency (GAO) that shank from more than 6,000 employees to less than 3,000 employees because of Republican-led budget cuts. The agency was almost always under promotion freezes.

HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW
— 7 Practical Ways to Reduce Bias in Your Hiring Process. DD: The Democrats who ran GAO in 1980, IRS in 1971, and the Post Office in 1966 hired me because they could not find a qualified Democrat, minority, female, younger person, or veteran who would take the job. I qualified myself for the Post Office job by earning a high school diploma and passing the postal employment test. I qualified myself for the IRS job by earning a bachelor’s degree in business and passing the Federal Service Entrance Examination. I qualified myself for the GAO job by earning an MBA and passing the CPA examination on my first attempt. Because of ever-increasing pressure to hire, retain, and promote young minorities and young females, my job-related bachelor’s degree, my three job-related master’s degrees, my six job-related professional certifications, and my job-related professional license ever-increasingly became worthless.

— Educational Requirements Are Gradually Disappearing From Job Postings. Amid growing support for skills-first hiring practices, employers are becoming less likely to require formal education credentials for jobs. HR EXECUTIVE
— EEOC puts Fortune 500 on notice over DEI. DD: When I graduated from NIU with a bachelor’s degree in management when I was 21 in 1970, I applied to many fortune 500 firms. Only Firestone Stores offered me a job, and it was for a job that really did not require a college degree. All the firms that I applied to were under tremendous pressure from EEOC to hire minorities, females, and veterans. I was not a minority, female, or veteran. To make matters worse, potential employers saw me as being Vietnam War draft bait. They did not believe that my financial hardship draft deferment application would be approved. Beyond that, my GPA was not that great because I had spent far too many hours delivering mail instead of studying to work my way through college.

CPA JOURNAL
— Glass Ceiling Shattered? Audit Partner Gender Diversity Within Accounting Firms. DD: Choosing the right college major is extremely important. I should have majored in accounting from the beginning, but I did not until I was 27 in 1976 when I started taking graduate evening accounting courses at DePaul. I passed the CPA examination on my first attempt when I was 30. I earned a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul when I was 31. I passed the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt when I was 32. I became a licensed CPA when I was 32. But by then, the accounting profession had no interest in me a) because it viewed me as being too old and b) because my demographics were terrible. The profession was under tremendous pressure to advance minorities and females. Why didn’t I major in accounting from the beginning? I erroneously believed that because I was not strong in math, I could never pass the CPA examination. But I belatedly came to realize that accountants do not use the types of math that I was not strong in.

— In Illinois, Democrat leaders ever-increasingly a) demonize, denigrate, and condemn everything that Trump says or does and b) shout at Illinois voters that if you do not like what Trump says or does, cast a Democrat primary ballot, but if not that, do not vote at all. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— What motivates you to help elect candidates? For me, it is their promise, their demonstrated ability, and their track record to defend and advance the Republican Party platform, including its personal responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, immigration, anti-vice, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks. From what I see, what motivates far too many to help elect candidates is their promise, their demonstrated ability, and their track record to use government to give more preference to those who share their demographics. Democrat elected officials ever-increasingly use government to give more preference to those who are liberal/moderate, minority, female, younger, non-rich, non-married, LGBTQ, non-Protestant, non-German American, have ancestors who have not been in America for a long time, and/or noncitizen. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— How many candidates on the Republican primary ballot in your precinct are going to lose March 17? In my precinct, three of the four governor candidates will lose. Five of the six U.S. Senate candidates will lose. One of the two Secretary of State candidates will lose. One of the two DuPage County Sheriff candidates will lose. If the future repeats the past, my critics/opponents will hint/imply/argue/shout at the losing candidates that me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters caused them to lose. Further, my critics/opponents will hint/imply/argue/shout at the winning candidates that if they lose on November 3, it will be because of me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters. Should I name my critics/opponents? Should I list the adverse actions that they have had their operatives and their dupes take against me to stop me from sending out my newsletter and to stop everyone from reading my newsletters? My critics/opponents destroy those like me a) who they cannot manipulate/dominate b) who refuse to glorify and praise them, c) who refuse to pander to them, d) who refuse to serve as one of their operatives or dupes, e) who refuse to cover up their wrong doing, and/or f) who refuse to give them money. – Dave Diersen

Kaczmarek demonizes, denigrates, and condemns ICE, military, and federal agents. But to do that is demonize, denigrate, and condemn not only Trump, but to demonize, denigrate, and condemn all Republicans. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a registered Republican voter, I am an elected Republican Precinct Committeeman, I am the GOPUSA Illinois Editor, and my wife is an election judge. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— What has your Republican Precinct Committeeman done to increase the number of Republican ballots cast in your precinct in the March 17 primary? I spent many hours a) putting 800 mailing labels and 400 return address labels on 400 DuPage County GOP envelopes, b) putting them into walk order, c) stuffing them with an unmarked sample ballot, a Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) Voter Guide, and campaign literature the five candidates who provided MTRO with their literature, d) dividing them into 5 batches, and e) hand-delivering them. I used my photocopier, paper, and ink to copy the unmarked sample ballot 400 times 2-sided back-to-back. If I spent 6 minutes getting each envelope ready, that would be 40 hours. I spent about 15 hours hand-delivering the envelopes, or about 3 hours per batch. – Dave Diersen

— Illinois Faces a Choice on Federal Scholarship Tax Credits. DD: My father never earned more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars. He almost always worked second jobs to pay the family’s bills. He died suddenly when he was 47 and I was 21 in 1969. My mother never worked outside of the home until after he died. They had less money because they sent me to Trinity Lutheran Grade School in Crete 1953-1961 and then Hope Lutheran Grade School in Park Forest 1961-1962 to stay with the Missouri Synod. That conservative Lutheran education put me on track to earn a job-related bachelor’s degree in 1970, job-related master’s degrees in 1976, 1980, and 1997, job-related professional certifications in 1979, 1981, 1990, 1994, 1996, and 1997, and a job-related professional license in 1981. But my GPA suffered because I had to work my way through college. I paid the expenses to earn the aforesaid degrees, certifications, and license with the money I earned doing yard work 1962-1964, delivering newspapers 1962-1966, washing dishes 1964-1966, cleaning golf shoes and chipping slag in 1966, pumping gasoline in 1966, 1971, and 1972, delivering mail 1966-1969, working on an automotive assembly line in 1970, selling tires, automotive services, and major appliances 1970-1971, collecting delinquent federal taxes 1971-1980, and auditing federal agencies 1980-1997.

— What is your religion and national origin? I worked for the Democrats who ran the federal government for almost 30 years. Many, if not most, if not virtually all of them disapproved of my Protestant religion and my German national origin. But none of my Post Office (1966-1969) and IRS (1971-1980) supervisors and superiors were women. But both my GAO supervisor and her superior were Jewish women during my last 8 years at GAO 1989-1997. They disapproved of my being conservative, Republican, Protestant, German American, a Crete resident 1948-1972, and a Wheaton resident since 1978. To punish me because I had become an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged them with reverse discrimination and age discrimination when I was 40 in 1988, they a) threw me off audits of IRS at the end of 1988, b) gave me a bad job assignment, unfair performance expectations, an unfair performance evaluation, and ranked me at the bottom of my coworkers for pay-for-performance (PFP) in 1989, c) ranked me in the lower half of my coworkers for PFP for the rest of my GAO career, and d) forced me to retire when I was 49 in 1997. They flushed down their toilets my earning job-related professional certifications in 1990, 1994, 1996, and 1997 and my earning a job-related master’s degree in 1997. They attributed all my successes in life to my benefitting from discrimination against those who do not share my demographics. All during the almost 30 years that I worked for the federal government, at least one of my superiors was Jewish. I should write about the aforesaid. – Dave Diersen

— The administration’s radical idea: Retaining workers based on merit. DD: While I worked for the Democrats who ran GAO 1980-1997, Republicans ever-increasingly cut the agency’s budget in relative terms if not absolute terms every year. In response, the Democrats who ran GAO declared that none of their employees who were young and/or who were veterans would suffer any adverse impacts of those budget cuts. Consequently, because I am not a veteran and because I was 31 years old when I started with GAO, they made me suffer the adverse impacts of those budget cuts. They forced me to take a $23,699 (21%) pay cut in today’s dollars to transfer from IRS in 1980. They delayed my promotions and never promoted me beyond GS-13. They kept me off audits of IRS for all but 3 of the almost 18 years that I worked for them. They always ranked me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance. They forced me to retire when I was 49 years old in 1997. They flushed down their toilets what I had learned a) working for GAO for almost 18 years, the last 11 years of which at the GS-13 Step 1-10 Levels ($118,984-$154,682/year in today’s dollars), b) working for IRS for almost 9 years, the last 5 1/2 years at the GS-12 Step 1-5 Levels ($100,069-$113,402/year in today’s dollars), c) earning three job-related master’s degrees, d) earning six job-related professional certifications, and e) earning a job-related professional license.

BOSTON COLLEGE
— What Is Your Definition of Success in Life? DD: Career advancement is a big measure of that. The federal government has an up-or-out policy for its employees who are White, male, and/or nonveteran. They must make GS-13 ($118,984) by age 25, GS-14 ($140,604) by age 30, GS-15 ($165,386) by age 35, and Senior Executive Service ($197,200) by age 40 or they are out, that is, their careers are wasted and they are forced to retire as soon as they are eligible. Because I did not make GS-12 until I was 25 in 1974, because I did not make GS-13 until I was 38, because I never made GS-14, my Democrat superiors wasted my career and forced to retire when I was 49. My critics/opponents have always used the aforesaid to hint/imply/argue/shout that I am an unmitigated loser, an extremely bad person, and even worse things. Further, they stress that I must be the aforesaid bad things because I failed to make the aforesaid promotion deadlines even though a) I earned a job-related bachelor’s degree when I was 21, b) I earned job-related master’s degrees when I was 27, 31, and 48, c) I earned job-related professional certifications when I was 30, 32, 41, 45, 47, and 48, and d) I earned a job-related professional license when I was 32. My critics/opponent have always known full-well a) that extremely few federal employees make the aforesaid promotion deadlines, b) that while I worked for GAO for almost 18 years, the agency was almost always under Republican-forced promotion freezes, and c) that my Democrat superiors punished me severely because I complained about their political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, and age discrimination and because I became an active member in a class action lawsuit that charged them with the aforesaid when I was 40.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Casey Chlebek (Republican) “Our immigration system is 100 years old. It’s totally incompatible with the needs of today. And something failed dramatically,” he said. “We have an excess of illegal immigrants. “I wrote a paper on the subject of immigration. And what I advanced for the new system, immigration system, is actually to have, I’ll call them recruitment centers outside of the country, where people come and based on our needs, our quota, and by industry, we can vet people outside of the country. “(When) people are inside the country, that’s an internal security issue, and we have to look at it a little differently,” he added. Jeannie Evans (Republican) “I think the majority of Americans agree we need to enforce our immigration laws. I as an elected official in Illinois would be working hard to build cooperation. We need cooperation from the local and state level with the federal government,” she said. “The federal you know the president wants to enforce the immigration laws, he wants to reduce crime and we need to work with him not resist. If the federal government is going to contribute resources to Illinois we should be very grateful and time having a conversation about what’s the best use of those resources how can we use them for you know permanent improvements,” she added. . .Don Tracy (Republican) “Immigration law enforcement is the province of the federal government, as is immigration law in general. So I support closing the borders and then I also support enforcing immigration law. And throughout the country it has worked fairly well,” he said. “I was just in Memphis a couple days ago where I spent almost nine or ten years. And the federal surge down there has really made the streets safer in Memphis. Five thousand arrests, a thousand illegal firearms off the street, 150 missing children. “Federal law enforcement and immigration is working where the local authorities cooperate, but where you have large groups, mobs, say, of trained and organized protestors who are stalking and blocking law enforcement operations and encouraged by the local authority who are not cooperating with the federal law enforcement. You have chaos. And that’s what we saw a taste of that here in Chicago. And then in Minneapolis, we saw it on steroids,” he added.)

WASHINGTON FREE BEACON
— Left-Wing Activists Target Jury Selection Process, Training Volunteers To Sneak On To Juries and ‘Nullify’ Trump Administration Prosecutions. DD: Have you ever served on a jury? If I had not be denied my 7th Amendment right to a jury trial in Diersen v. GAO, and if you had served on that jury, would you have sided with GAO or with me? To justify their denying me a jury trial, the judges and justices hinted/implied/argued that no jury would side with me. But the trial record showed that my Democrat superiors had illegally forced me to retire so that they could give my job and my preferred corner office to my Black subordinate who had less work experience than I had, had less education than I had, had one professional certification while I had six, and had no professional license like I had. In 1993, when I was a 45-year-old GAO employee who had 25 years of federal service, to get rid of their employees a) who they had not promoted into their Senior Executive Service, currently $197,200/year, b) who were Republican, White, male, older, and/or non-veteran, and/or c) who had 25 or more years of federal service, the Democrats who ran GAO “offered” them a $25,000 buyout if they took early retirement. Their buyout “offer” expired in 1 year and their early retirement “offer” expired in 4 years. They succeeded in forcing me to take the early retirement “offer” on September 30, 1997. Things that I had done that helped me survive those 4 years included a) my earning job-related master’s degrees in 1997, 1980, and 1976, b) my earing job-related professional certifications in 1997, 1996, 1994, 1990, 1981, and 1979, and c) my earning a job-related professional license in 1981. Under the Democrats and under the RINOs, anticipate/expect that ever-increasingly, the more of the following that you are, the less “jury appeal” that you will have, and therefore, the less “justice” that you will have in courts: conservative, Republican, non-poor, non-veteran, White, male, older, Protestant, German American, and/or have ancestors who have been in America for a long time. I am all of the aforesaid. Federal courts would not have denied me my 7th Amendment right to a jury trial in Diersen v. GAO if I had been Democrat, poor, veteran, minority, female, younger, non-Protestant, non-German American, and/or if my ancestors had not been in America for a long time. GAO hinted/implied/argued that because of my demographics, I should pay the price of Affirmative Action big time and that I could easily afford to pay that price. GAO’s forcing me to retire when I was 49 years old in 1997 cut my income by $86,042/year (56%) ($154,682/year salary minus $68,640/year pension) in today’s dollars. Off the record, GAO stressed a) that the federal government would forever pay 72% of my and my wife’s health insurance premiums, b) that my wife had a good job, c) that we had no dependents, d) that we had no debts, e) that we had substantial retirement and other savings, f) that we owned a 13-year-old home in Wheaton, g) that we owned three collector cars, h) etc. Again, if I had not been denied my 7th Amendment right to a jury trial, and if you had served on that jury, would you have sided with GAO or with me? From what I see, those who want Affirmative Action and DEI would have sided with GAO.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Wednesday, the Illinois Senate approved Chris Meister, who is currently leading the Illinois Finance Authority, to be the new auditor. State Sen. Chapin Rose, who serves on the Legislative Audit Commission, said Meister suggested bringing back a deputy director position for the office. “At the end of the day, you’re getting someone with that breadth of government knowledge, extreme financial management experience,” said Rose, R-Mahomet. “And then I believe ultimately we’re also going to pick up, as a bonus, one of our other candidates. And at the end of the day, this body, and the entire General Assembly and frankly, the taxpayers of Illinois will be enormously well served with Mr. Meister at the helm.” The auditor general is responsible for financial audits and compliance examinations of state agencies. The office also performs audits approved by the Legislative Audit Commission. Wednesday, state Sen. Laura Ellman praised Rose’s nomination for Chris Meister to be the new auditor. “This was a once in a 10 year activity,” Ellman, D-Naperville, said of selecting a new auditor general. “Nobody was really good at it. But through that leadership, Senator Rose guided us all through it and really is a bicameral, bipartisan, effort. So I’m excited to see the next Legislative Audit Commission under Auditor General Meister.” After being unanimously approved by the Senate, Senate Joint Resolution 55 was also unanimously approved by the Illinois House Wednesday. The Illinois Auditor General office’s budget is $43.3 million from state taxpayer funds. The auditor’s salary is more than $197,000.)

Because my wife and I gave up trying to have children without trying IVF, because we did not adopt, and because we did not become foster parents, my Democrat GAO superiors viciously demonized me, denigrated me, and condemned me as being a filthy rich disgusting DINK. According to them, if we had children, I would not have been able to a) pass the CPA examination on my first attempt when I was 30, b) earn a master’s degree in accounting when I was 31, c) pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt when I was 32, or d) become a licensed CPA when I was 32. None of them had as many job-related master’s degrees or professional certifications as I had. None of them was a licensed CPA like I was. — In Illinois, Democrats run elections. For the March 17 primary, how successful have the Democrats who run elections in your county been a) encouraging Democrats to vote and b) discouraging Republicans from voting? Everyone knows that the more ballots that are cast for a party in primaries strongly indicates that candidates of that party will win in general elections. Will Democrats publish the names of voters who have voted and a) reward those who cast Democrat ballots and b) punish those who cast Republican ballots? SEE: https://www.dailyherald.com/20260302/news/dupage-clerk-to-ice-stay-away-from-polling-places/ Kaczmarek ever-increasingly makes it clear that she despises if not hates registered Republican voters, and especially those who share Trump’s demographics: conservative, White, male, older, non-poor, German American, and/or have ancestors who have been in America for a long time. I share all the aforesaid demographics with Trump. Kaczmarek ever-increasingly hints/implies/argues that Republican voters are racists and even worse things. I am sure that Kaczmarek is furious about what I have done to encourage Republican primary ballots to be cast in my precinct. I recently hand-delivered DCRCC envelopes to the 400 residences in my precinct that have at least one registered Republican or NA voter. Those envelopes contained a copy of the sample ballot, a Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) Voter Guide, and campaign literature from the five candidates who provided literature to the MTRO. – Dave Diersen

(FROM THE AFORESAID DAILY HERALD ARTICLE: DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek made it clear Monday that federal immigration agents are not welcome at polling places. She announced her office has set up a special phone number, (630) 407-5634, for people to report if they see U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement or other federal agents at or near a polling place. “Today, my office has a message for the voters of DuPage County and for Immigration and Customs Enforcement, better known as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and that message is that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement will not be allowed to interfere with DuPage County elections in any way,” Kaczmarek said at a news conference. She said it is a federal crime for military or federal agents to interfere in elections or intimidate voters. “Those crimes will not be tolerated in DuPage County. Not on my watch,” Kaczmarek said. “ICE, go away. Do not even try. You will fail.” Early voting began several weeks ago at five sites and expanded to 24 on Monday. When asked if immigration agents had been seen at any of the sites, Kaczmarek said, “No.” She said it is a myth that non-citizens vote on Election Day. Kaczmarek also reminded voters that if they feel unsafe at a polling place on the day of the March 17 primary election, they can go to another of the 248 polling places because DuPage residents can vote anywhere in the county. If the clerk’s office receives a report about federal agents, it will notify election judges at that polling place. It will also alert community “rapid response” teams who monitor agents and report their presence to the public, Kaczmarek said. The clerk said she will also notify the appropriate authorities. She said election judges can ask agents to leave. Kaczmarek said she did not consult with DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin or DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick about enforcing any such requests.)
— What positions do DuPage County State’s Attorney Bob Berlin, DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick, and DuPage County election judges have on Kaczmarek potentially ordering them to take adverse actions against ICE? What powers do Kaczmarek’s community “rapid response” teams have? Will they be as aggressive as those in Minneapolis? – Dave Diersen

PR NEWSWIRE
— Media Advisory vs. Press Release. DD: Since 2000 when I became the Illinois reporter for GOPUSA, I have repeatedly asked DuPage County to keep diersen@aol.com on its press advisory and press release lists. I did not receive a press advisory or press release for Kaczmarek’s March 2 news conference. According to my critics/opponents, a) GOPUSA is not a legitimate news organization and b) I am not a legitimate reporter. According to my critics/opponents, to be a legitimate member of the news media, you have to a) claim to be nonpartisan, b) get paid for what you do, and c) have a degree in journalism. My critics/opponents ignore/dismiss/belittle/badmouth that what GAO Analysts do is very similar to what reporters do. I worked for GAO as an Analyst for almost 18 years, the last 11 years of which at the GS-13 Step 1-5 Levels, currently $118,984-$$154,682/year. My critics/opponents destroy those like me a) who they cannot manipulate or dominate, b) who refuse to glorify and praise them, c) who refuse to pander to them, d) who refuse to serve as one of their operatives or dupes, e) who refuse to coverup their wrong doing, and/or f) who refuse to give them money. I should write about my critics/opponents. I would focus on those who have lots of religious, government, political, and/or financial clout in Wheaton, Milton Township, DuPage County, and Illinois. I would focus on those who have had their operatives and their dupes take the most/biggest adverse actions against me lately.
https://www.prnewswire.com/resources/articles/media-advisory-vs-press-release/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: A media advisory, also called a press advisory or a media alert, is a brief notice that invites journalists to cover an upcoming event. Unlike a media pitch, which suggests story angles to specific journalists, or a press release, which provides complete news coverage, a media advisory simply gives reporters the essential details they need to decide whether to attend an event. . .A press release is a formal written announcement that shares news about your organization with the media and public. It tells a complete story about company growth, new hires, product launches or other newsworthy developments that matter to your audience. Think of it as a ready-to-publish news article that gives journalists all the information they need to cover your story.)

KOREAN TIMES
— Most Koreans see poverty as matter of discipline, not predetermined. DD: According to my critics/opponents I owe all my successes in life to my benefitting from discrimination against those who do not share my demographics. They ignore/dismiss/belittle the fact that a) neither of my parents attended college, b) my father was only the first of my ancestors to earn a high school diploma, c) he never earned more than $50,000/year in today’s dollars, d) he died suddenly when he was 47 and I was 21, e) my mother never attended high school, and f) I had to work my way through college.
https://www.koreatimes.co.kr/amp/southkorea/society/20260303/most-koreans-see-poverty-as-matter-of-discipline-not-predetermined
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Public attitudes in Korea toward poverty remain sharply divided, with a majority of respondents attributing hardship to a lack of individual effort, while low-income families point instead to structural barriers that keep them at the margins, according to a survey released Tuesday. The 2025 Korean Welfare Panel Study, conducted jointly by the Korea Institute for Health and Social Affairs and the Seoul National University Social Welfare Research Institute, found that 89.6 percent of 2,661 respondents cited insufficient motivation and effort as the main cause of poverty. Nearly nine out of 10 respondents, or 88.3 percent, pointed to a lack of frugality or poor household financial management, suggesting that for a majority of Koreans, economic hardship is still seen largely as a matter of personal responsibility and discipline. Because the survey allowed participants to weigh multiple contributing factors independently, the total percentages exceed 100 percent. In contrast, only 62.8 percent blamed inborn ability or talent, and just 12 percent viewed it as a “very important” factor, indicating that poverty is rarely regarded as unchangeable or predetermined. The perception gap widened when broken down by income level. Among middle- and high-income households, 90.2 percent said personal effort was central in determining poverty, compared with 85.5 percent of low-income households. The share who said effort is “very important” dropped from 37.8 percent in the general group to 27.9 percent among low-income respondents, while those who saw a lack of frugality as a very important cause also fell from 40.0 percent to 30.3 percent. Experts warn that this heavy emphasis on individual responsibility can serve as a secondary form of punishment for those already struggling. Labeling poverty primarily as the result of laziness or weak will risks isolating low-income Koreans, undermining their self-worth and weakening social cohesion, they noted. To meaningfully tackle poverty, they added, personal initiative must be supported by stronger safety nets and structural reforms so that individual efforts are not hindered by barriers beyond people’s control.)
