If you’re shopping for a new car or truck right now, you’ll find that the worldwide shortage of semiconductors is interfering with both supply and choices. – SEBASTIAN BLANCO (DIERSEN: Reasons why I recently ordered a loaded Chevrolet Malibu Premier to use as a daily driver during the spring, summer, and fall include: a) my 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Sport is not going to last forever and it will be used as a winter car, b) I am leery of buying used cars, c) I will only buy American-nameplate gasoline cars, d) the Malibu might be discontinued soon, and e) I have indoor space to store cars.
