Hasn’t he ever heard about separation of church and state? If he wants to welcome these people, then his congregation should pass the offering basket and open their homes to feed the illegal aliens and house the refugees. They should not expect taxpayers to foot the bill. We at Save Springfield, Illinois Facebook Group agree with what has been expressed already: The anti-hate resolution is in place and is enough. Let the aldermen get busy with the taxpayers’ concerns.)
