We are careful and polite about what we post. Surely Big Tech sees how reasonable we are and would never come after us too. Not so anymore. Big Tech is now starting to label regular conservative viewpoints as false and using that as justification to censor and even permanently ban us. They are threatening to ban conservatives for posting things that left-leaning fact checkers say have a very remote possibility of not being true. . .Do you see where this is leading? If you say “capitalism leads to prosperity,” that could be “fact-checked” as false because you can always point to poor people. If you say “Christianity saves lives” that could be “fact-checked” as false because some Christians were martyred for their faith. . .Rep. Jim Jordan and other congressional conservatives issued a report this month on Big Tech censorship, focusing on Facebook, Google, Apple, Amazon and Twitter. The report stated, “Big Tech is out to get conservatives. Time and again, Big Tech uses its power to suppress and marginalize conservative voices.” Google was caught blacklisting some of the top conservative media sites in July, noticeably shortly before the election. Notice we’re no longer talking about Infowars and fringe sites. These are the top conservative sites in the country, including Townhall, Breitbart, The Daily Wire and Judicial Watch. . .Jordan and Rep. Matt Gaetz were shadow-banned by Twitter in 2018, but not a single member of the 78-person Progressive Caucus was shadow-banned. RNC chair Ronna McDaniel was shadow-banned, but not the DNC chair. The report lists many incidents of censorship of prominent, regular conservatives, including President Trump. On the other hand, conduct threatening violence on the extreme left is often given a free pass. Tweets by the Ayatollah Khamenei are allowed stating that Iran will reciprocate against the U.S. for the death of Hajj Qasem Soleimani and that Israel will be uprooted and destroyed. . .Many conservatives will still blow this off, saying it’s not censorship because private companies are involved, and we just need to come up with our own competing alternatives. This may be true, but it’s not solving the problem. No platforms fair to conservatives have come anywhere near the competitiveness of the top Big Tech companies. Parler, which President Trump recommended as a social media alternative, has only 2.8 million users. Whereas Facebook has over 2.7 billion users, Instagram has 1 billion and Twitter has 48.35 million. So conservatives are being increasingly shut out of the modern-day version of the public square. . .Something has to change. The left already controls so much of society — education, most of the legal system, traditional media, Hollywood — that the addition of Big Tech will ensure that conservatives never win another election again. It’s just not clear to many of us what is the best way to fight back.)

The past few months have been an unfolding drama of lawlessness in the streets, anti-American curricula planned for the schools, and overt attacks on foundational beliefs that most Americans hold dear. The upheaval has been swift and destructive, leading many to wonder how anyone either in or seeking an elected leadership position would not speak out forcefully against the carnage. Some Democrat leaders of the affected cities have either actively called on the police to stand down, or they have decided not to publicly condemn the burning, looting, and murdering in their cities. A comparison of the Republican and Democrat party platforms can provide much-needed information about the worldviews and intentions of current leaders and those who might be elected on November 3. What is a party platform? Political party platforms are official declarations of the principles, policy stances, and action items of the parties. Every four years, political parties gather for their national conventions where they nominate their presidential and vice-presidential candidates. They also write their platforms, the documents that outline where they stand on specific issues and what they intend to do on those issues if their candidates are elected. The differences in 2020 are stark. Republican – Democrat  If one were to judge the 2020 Republican and Democrat platforms simply by tone, even a cursory review of both would yield important insights into each party’s opinions of the country and its issues. The Democrat Party platform outlines what many might consider to be extremist views of this country – that it is irredeemably racist, that people who were instrumental in the founding and early leadership of the country are unworthy of respect or remembrance, and that the government should take over huge areas of its citizens’ lives. Law enforcement must be overhauled, and white supremacy and nationalism are ingrained sins that must be overcome. Rabine, who headlines a podcast called Ditch Digger CEO, also has the ear of Charlie Kirk of Turning Point. Kinzinger, meanwhile, may be looking for a new challenge after nearly 10 years in the House — 12 if he wins re-election next month. He’s one of the few Republicans in Congress who hasn’t been afraid to call out President Donald Trump when he thinks the president’s tweets go too far. GOP sources say Kinzinger’s campaign team would like to see him run for governor, but he so far isn’t indicating whether he’s ready to make the leap.
