In 1975, my Democrat IRS superiors succeeded in forcing my IRS mentor to transfer to Texas; he had promoted me to GS-9 in 1972, to GS-11 in 1973, and to GS-12, currently $85,935/year, in 1974. Republican losses in Illinois, DuPage County, Milton Township, and Wheaton increased dramatically since I a) became a Republican Precinct Committeeman in 1999, b) served as the Milton Township Republican Organization webmaster 2000-2004 and 2008-2010, c) served as an Illinois Center Right Coalition Steering member 2003-2007, d) served as a Wheaton Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee member 2003-2011, e) served as the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman 2005-2012, and f) raised funds from DuPage Republicans 2005-2019 so that DuPage Republicans could help sponsor Wheaton’s Independence Day parades and fireworks.
