DD: While I worked for the Democrats who ran the federal government for almost 30 years, they ever-increasingly lowered hiring, retention, and promotion requirements to hire, retain, and promote more Democrats who were minority, female, and/or younger. That ever-increasingly rendered worthless my job related bachelor’s degree, my three job-related master’s degrees, my six job-related professional certifications, my job-related professional license, my almost 9 years of experience working for IRS, and my almost 18 years of experience working for GAO. DD: Back in the good old days, back when I was 49 in 1997, I was able to earn $154,682/year (GS-13 Step 10) in today’s dollars. Were you forced to retire early? Will you be forced to retire early? My Democrat GAO superiors forced me to retire when I was 49 in 1997. What if I had not succumbed to their threats? Their threats included making my next 6 years until I would be eligible for regular retirement to be a living hell for me. They included constructively demoting me, giving me adverse transfers, giving me unfair performance expectations, giving me unfair performance appraisals, and continuing to rank me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance. GAO was not unionized. It did not unionize until 2007. In retrospect, with benefit of hindsight, I should not have retired. REAL CLEAR DEFENSE
— Where Have All the Young Men Gone? DD: Did you enlist? What motivated you to get a college degree? My father often decried his not having a college degree. Because of that and because my parents lacked money, when I was a freshman and sophomore at Crete-Monee High School 1962-1964, my plan was to enlist and use the GI Bill to get a college degree. But one of my high school friends suggested that I consider working my way through college because I was taking college preparatory classes and I was in the upper 20% of my class. Then, another high school friend provided me with a model: get accepted by UIC and commute to/from classes there from my parents’ home in Crete. At the start of my junior year, got a job washing dishes for the minimum wage in the basement of the SS Kresge in Chicago Heights. To get to/from that job and my parents’ home, I bought a 6-year-old car with money I had earned/saved doing yard work and delivering newspapers. I got an ACT score of 24 and I got accepted by UIC. Just before I graduated in June of 1966, I bought a new 1966 Pontiac Tempest Sprint, a poor man’s GTO, with money I had earned/saved washing dishes. In December of 1967, I sold that Pontiac and bought a new 1968 Oldsmobile 442 with the money I had earned/saved delivering mail for the Park Forest Post Office. In December of 1968, I sold that Oldsmobile, I bought a new 1969 Dodge Charger SE, and I transferred to NIU. In August of 1970, I graduated debt-free from NIU with a bachelor’s degree in management and owning that Charger. According to my critics/opponents, the real reason why I did the aforesaid was to avoid the Vietnam War draft. Admittedly, as the war dragged on, war protesters ever-increasingly demonized, denigrated, and condemned a) those who enlisted and b) those who did not avoid the draft. My father died suddenly in October of 1969. I applied for a financial hardship draft deferment to help support my mother and brother. But potential employers saw me as being draft bait, they did not believe my application would be approved. Consequently, I accepted the only job offer that I got. It was for a job that did not really require a college degree. But then, my application was approved and because my lottery number was over 100, I was no longer subject to the draft. What if I had tried to enlist? I could not run because I had a bone disease. My eyesight could not be corrected to 20/20. I had partial red/green color blindness.
https://www.realcleardefense.com/articles/2026/03/23/where_have_all_the_young_men_gone_1171913.html
(FROM THE ARTICLE: When Richard Nixon ended the draft in January 1973, America lost something vital to its soul. The quality of our military has not suffered. We have a splendid volunteer force defending our country and freedom right now. It’s the best educated, best trained, and best equipped force we have ever had. They are not the problem. The problem is that they represent only a very small fraction of America. For the first time in our history, the overwhelming majority of American families not only do not have a member in service, but they also don’t even know any family that does. 1973 was not the first time conscription was canceled. For the record, there was no national conscription before the Civil War…not for want of trying. General George Washington was frustrated with the unsoldierly quality of state militias during the Revolutionary War, and as president tried to register all males for military service. Congress blocked him. Conscription has been on-again-off-again our entire history to this day. So, Nixon’s draft cancellation cannot really be blamed for the decay of American culture. The problem was that our culture was already turning into a fetid sea, and the draft was a lifeboat. Besides shared contribution, experience and sacrifice, what we lost by ending the draft was character. Our country is in crisis, and most of our nation’s problems can be traced to the lack of character attributes that should be taught by mothers and fathers, and which are certainly instilled through military service: self-discipline, personal accountability, responsibility, self-reliance, selflessness, integrity, respect, and patriotism. Perhaps the greatest of these is discipline, from which all else must surely flow. Ask a strapping young man knocking about in life trying to find himself today, “Have you considered the military?” “Oh, no!” is a common response, “I couldn’t stand all that discipline.” That is sad, and a sad commentary on what we have allowed to happen to our great country. “Country” is not synonymous with “nation.” Right now, the United States is Balkanizing itself, and worse, sinking into tribalism. Common values build a nation. The Kurds are a nation who have never had a country. The Jews are a nation that only recovered their country after 2000 years of exile, but half of whom are still spread around the world. The nationhood of both derives from shared values and history—not from politics, race, or regionalism. Of course, it’s more complex, but shared values are the core of nationhood. The United States of America has lost that. The draft could bring it back. “The Marine Corps builds men.” And women. So do the Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and Space Force. More than instilling character, the military exposes young people to milieus that he or she might never otherwise encounter. To use the current politically correct term “diversity:” the military is comprised of every race, religion, culture, ethnicity, economic class, education and experience that make up this great country coming together and working together on a level playing field. And building a national common denominator of shared experience and, yes, character traits. Bottom line, it is the military strength of our country that keeps us free, and that is a personal responsibility. Writing of “the necessity of obliging every citizen to be a soldier,” Thomas Jefferson said in a letter to James Monroe in 1813, “We must train…our citizens, and make military instruction a regular part of collegiate education. We can never be safe until this is done,” Restoring universal service would also put us on the road to restoring the nobility of character that Alexis de Tocqueville so admired in Americans in 1831. Mandatory non-military community service, as suggested by some, is a nice idea, but it is no substitute for Jefferson’s vision.)

— Gregory Bovino’s Final Days: Harsh Words and Few Regrets. He was the face of the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown. But as he begins a retirement that was not entirely voluntary, the Border Patrol leader says he did not go far enough. DD: Were you forced to retire early? Will you be forced to retire early? What if I had not succumbed to my Democrat GAO superiors’ threats and I had not retired early when I was 49 in 1997? They had threatened to make my next 6 years until I would be eligible for regular retirement to be a living hell for me. They had threatened to constructively demote me, to give me adverse transfers, unfair performance expectations, unfair performance appraisals, and to continue to rank me in the bottom half of my coworkers for pay-for-performance. GAO was not unionized. It did not unionize until 2007. In retrospect, with benefit of hindsight, I should not have retired. I should have fought to keep my job a) because my critics/opponents have used my being forced to retire early against me so viciously and b) because of the tremendous loss of income that I have suffered and will suffer for the rest of my life.

My critics/opponents have always been furious about that. They stress that 40 hour workweek unfairly enabled me a) to work part-time 1971-1972, b) to take graduate evening business courses 1972-1976, accounting courses 1976-1980, and finance courses 1992-1997, and c) to take evening and weekend CPA examination review courses 1978-1979 and Certified Internal Auditor examination review courses 1980-1981.

— Experience. DD: For Democrats, the federal government exists to hire, retain, and promote Democrats. While I worked for the Democrats who ran the federal government for almost 30 years, they ever-increasingly made it clear that to keep your job, you not only had to be a Democrat, you had to be a minority, female, younger, and/or veteran. As I got older, they ever-increasingly wasted what I had learned earning a job-related bachelor’s degree, three job-related master’s degrees, six job-related professional certifications, and job-related professional license. As I got older, they took ever-increasingly bigger adverse actions to get rid of me culminating in their forcing me to retire when I was 49 in 1997.

While I worked for IRS 1971-1980 and for GAO 1980-1997, the agencies provided me with lots of classroom training. But the Democrats who ran IRS and GAO wasted what I learned from that training as well as what I learned a) earning a bachelor’s degree in management from NIU in 1970, b) earning an MBA from Loyola in 1976, c) passing the CPA examination on my first attempt in 1979, d) earning a master’s degree in accounting from DePaul in 1980, e) passing the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt in 1981, and f) earning a master’s degree in finance from IIT in 1997. — DD: ACCORDING TO BREITBART: Cesar Chavez opposed illegal immigration every bit as much as Donald J. Trump. Chávez understood that illegal aliens undermined the wages of legal migrant workers and their union bargaining power. Cesar Chavez was so opposed to illegal immigration that, just like Minuteman Project of 2004, which was widely smeared in the legacy media as racist, Chavez put together his own militia to stop illegals from crossing the border. There are credible reports that violence was used as an example to others. To form his United Farmworkers Union (UFW), it was Chavez versus the growers, and for obvious reasons, the growers loved the open border. For just as obvious reasons, Chavez did not. — There are far too many wrong reasons to vote for candidates. Far too many vote for Democrat and RINO candidates a) because they want to punish Trump, b) because the candidate hints/implies/argues/shouts that if elected, they will use government to give more preference to those who share the voter’s demographics and/or b) because the candidate and/or their spouse share the voter’s demographics. To get elected, ever-increasingly, Democrat and RINO candidates promise to use government to give more preference to voters who are Trump-haters, liberal/moderate, minority, female, younger, non-rich, unmarried, LGBTQ, non-Protestant, non-German American, have ancestors who have not been in America for a long time, and/or are in America illegally. To get elected, ever-increasingly, Democrat and RINO candidates promise to use government to promote more hatred against Trump, dependency on government and charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, vices, gun control, and Affirmative Acton and DEI, that is, race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, and national origin discrimination. According to Google AI: Political analysts and ethicists point to several “wrong” or irrational reasons for casting a vote, generally defined as those that do not involve a critical assessment of a candidate’s qualifications, policies, or potential to contribute to the common good. Common examples of potentially poor reasons to vote for a candidate include: Party Loyalty Over Substance: Voting purely along party lines without examining the specific candidate’s platform or character, driven by a belief that it is wrong to abandon one’s party. Single-Issue Voting: Supporting or opposing a candidate based solely on their position on one specific issue, without weighing the candidate’s stance on a range of other important matters. Candidate’s Appearance or Charisma: Focusing on superficial traits like a candidate’s looks, how they speak, or their “celebrity” status, rather than their policy proposals or governing ability. One historical example cited is an elector in 1852 who objected to a candidate purely because “he wears mustachios”. Unrealistic or Impossible Promises: Being swayed by grand but unfeasible promises, such as instantly lowering grocery prices or ending a war overnight, without scrutinizing the practical means of achieving them. Fear and Prejudice: Allowing fear of an opposing group (e.g., immigrants, different religious groups, other political parties) to dictate a vote, rather than a thoughtful consideration of the candidates’ merits. Voting for “Free Things”: Supporting a candidate purely because they promise government benefits or “free” programs, without considering the economic feasibility or overall impact on society. Ballot Position: Choosing a candidate simply because they are listed higher on the ballot, which studies have shown can influence voters who have not researched the candidates. “Feel-Good” Citizenship: Voting based on prejudices or delusions, which may provide psychological pleasure to the voter but result in supporting policies contrary to their own or the public’s best interests. – Dave Diersen

— The Racist Beginnings of Standardized Testing. DD: What standardized tests have you passed? The most important tests that I passed were the CPA examination when I was 30 in 1979 and Certified Internal Auditor examination when I was 32, both of which I passed on my first attempt, something that only about 20% do. My Democrat IRS and GAO superiors were furious that I passed those tests because my Democrat coworkers who they wanted to promote over me and who were minority, female, younger than me, and/or veteran had not taken either of the tests, had failed them, or had not passed them on their first attempt. My Democrat IRS and GAO superiors hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I passed the tests because I benefitted greatly from Republican discrimination against Democrats, and especially Republican discrimination against Democrats who were minority, female, younger than me, and/or veteran.

— Wrong reasons to vote for a candidate. DD: Far too many vote for Democrat and RINO candidates a) because they want to punish Trump, b) because the candidate hints/implies/argues/shouts that if elected, they will use government to give more preference to those who share the voter’s demographics and/or b) because the candidate and/or their spouse share the voter’s demographics. To get elected, ever-increasingly, Democrat and RINO candidates promise to use government to promote more hatred against Trump, dependency on government and charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, vices, gun control, and Affirmative Acton and DEI, that is, race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, and national origin discrimination.
https://www.google.com/search?q=%22wrong+reasons+to+vote+for+a+candidate
(FROM GOOGLE AI: Political analysts and ethicists point to several “wrong” or irrational reasons for casting a vote, generally defined as those that do not involve a critical assessment of a candidate’s qualifications, policies, or potential to contribute to the common good. “Feel-Good” Citizenship: Voting based on prejudices or delusions, which may provide psychological pleasure to the voter but result in supporting policies contrary to their own or the public’s best interests.)

— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD WITH BIG PICTURE: Why some voters opted out of Tuesday’s primary. DD: How many voted in your precinct? At least 334 or 31% of the 1,086 registered voters voted in my DuPage County Milton Township Precinct 59 in Wheaton. At least 186 (58%) cast Democrat ballots and at least 136 (42%) cast Republican ballots. In Illinois, it is public record that you voted in primaries and which party you cast a ballot for. As Democrat domination of Illinois becomes ever-increasingly absolute, anticipate/expect that because of fear of retaliation from Democrats, fewer and fewer and fewer Republican primary ballots will be cast. Because more and more and more employers in Illinois are Democrat or RINO, a) fewer and fewer and fewer Republicans will be hired and b) more and more and more Republicans will be gotten rid of. I have cast Republican primary ballots since I was 18 in 1966. I worked for the Democrats who ran the federal government 1966-1969 and 1971-1997. They ever-increasingly used my being a Republican against me. They also knew that I was a draft avoider, Protestant, German American, my ancestors had been in America since 1844, I lived in Crete 1948-1972, and I lived in Wheaton since 1978 and they ever-increasingly used that against me. — Pritzker administration opens down payment assistance program to spur homeownership. DD: In today’s dollars, my IRS Revenue Officer salary increased from $56,409/year to $68,999/year when I was 24 in 1972. That enabled me to buy a new townhome in University Park ( https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/774-Sunset-Ct-5-University-Park-IL-60484/5451474_zpid/ ). My critics/opponents were furious about that. They were even more furious than when I bought a new 1972 Corvette in 1971. In my defense, the down payment for the townhome came from what I had earned working for IRS for 15 months and for a Firestone Store part-time for 18 months and full-time for 7 months before that and half of the money for the Corvette came from an insurance settlement, the rest was a loan. According to my critics/opponents, I would not have been able to buy that Corvette or that townhome a) if I had not avoided the Vietnam War draft and b) if I had not been grossly overpaid by IRS. In my defense, I had earned a bachelor’s degree in management from NIU in 1970 and I completed a graduate evening business course at UIC in 1971 and four graduate evening business courses at Loyola in 1972. According to Zillow, the townhome is currently worth $87,100.

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A 1986 law makes it illegal for U.S. employers to hire aliens who are not authorized to work. Employers must verify that all their new employees are eligible to work and maintain records showing those employees are employment authorized. ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations Directorate (HSI) engages in “worksite enforcement” to ensure businesses are not employing unauthorized aliens. During worksite enforcement investigations, HSI can secure permission — from either the employer or a federal judge — to enter businesses and find illegal aliens. Traditionally, most immigration arrests occurred in worksites, not on the streets or in communities, and DHS should return to such an enforcement strategy.

— In Illinois, Democrat leaders ever-increasingly a) demonize, denigrate, and condemn everything that Trump says or does and b) shout at Illinois voters that if you do not like what Trump says or does, cast a Democrat primary ballot, but if not that, do not vote at all. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— What motivates you to help elect candidates? For me, it is their promise, their demonstrated ability, and their track record to defend and advance the Republican Party platform, including its personal responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, immigration, anti-vice, Second Amendment, and equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks. From what I see, what motivates far too many to help elect candidates is their promise, their demonstrated ability, and their track record to use government to give more preference to those who share their demographics. Democrat elected officials ever-increasingly use government to give more preference to those who are liberal/moderate, minority, female, younger, non-rich, non-married, LGBTQ, non-Protestant, non-German American, have ancestors who have not been in America for a long time, and/or noncitizen. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— How many candidates on the Republican primary ballot in your precinct are going to lose March 17? In my precinct, three of the four governor candidates will lose. Five of the six U.S. Senate candidates will lose. One of the two Secretary of State candidates will lose. One of the two DuPage County Sheriff candidates will lose. If the future repeats the past, my critics/opponents will hint/imply/argue/shout at the losing candidates that me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters caused them to lose. Further, my critics/opponents will hint/imply/argue/shout at the winning candidates that if they lose on November 3, it will be because of me and my GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters. Should I name my critics/opponents? Should I list the adverse actions that they have had their operatives and their dupes take against me to stop me from sending out my newsletter and to stop everyone from reading my newsletters? My critics/opponents destroy those like me a) who they cannot manipulate/dominate b) who refuse to glorify and praise them, c) who refuse to pander to them, d) who refuse to serve as one of their operatives or dupes, e) who refuse to cover up their wrong doing, and/or f) who refuse to give them money. – Dave Diersen

Kaczmarek demonizes, denigrates, and condemns ICE, military, and federal agents. But to do that is demonize, denigrate, and condemn not only Trump, but to demonize, denigrate, and condemn all Republicans. In the interest of full disclosure, I am a registered Republican voter, I am an elected Republican Precinct Committeeman, I am the GOPUSA Illinois Editor, and my wife is an election judge. – Dave Diersen
http://www.gopillinois.com
— What has your Republican Precinct Committeeman done to increase the number of Republican ballots cast in your precinct in the March 17 primary? I spent many hours a) putting 800 mailing labels and 400 return address labels on 400 DuPage County GOP envelopes, b) putting them into walk order, c) stuffing them with an unmarked sample ballot, a Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) Voter Guide, and campaign literature the five candidates who provided MTRO with their literature, d) dividing them into 5 batches, and e) hand-delivering them. I used my photocopier, paper, and ink to copy the unmarked sample ballot 400 times 2-sided back-to-back. If I spent 6 minutes getting each envelope ready, that would be 40 hours. I spent about 15 hours hand-delivering the envelopes, or about 3 hours per batch. – Dave Diersen

(FROM THE ARTICLE: Wednesday, the Illinois Senate approved Chris Meister, who is currently leading the Illinois Finance Authority, to be the new auditor. State Sen. Chapin Rose, who serves on the Legislative Audit Commission, said Meister suggested bringing back a deputy director position for the office. “At the end of the day, you’re getting someone with that breadth of government knowledge, extreme financial management experience,” said Rose, R-Mahomet. “And then I believe ultimately we’re also going to pick up, as a bonus, one of our other candidates. And at the end of the day, this body, and the entire General Assembly and frankly, the taxpayers of Illinois will be enormously well served with Mr. Meister at the helm.” The auditor general is responsible for financial audits and compliance examinations of state agencies. The office also performs audits approved by the Legislative Audit Commission. Wednesday, state Sen. Laura Ellman praised Rose’s nomination for Chris Meister to be the new auditor. “This was a once in a 10 year activity,” Ellman, D-Naperville, said of selecting a new auditor general. “Nobody was really good at it. But through that leadership, Senator Rose guided us all through it and really is a bicameral, bipartisan, effort. So I’m excited to see the next Legislative Audit Commission under Auditor General Meister.” After being unanimously approved by the Senate, Senate Joint Resolution 55 was also unanimously approved by the Illinois House Wednesday. The Illinois Auditor General office’s budget is $43.3 million from state taxpayer funds. The auditor’s salary is more than $197,000.)

— Raising kids in this economy: To DINK or not? Why more Indian couples are rethinking parenthood. DD: My Democrat GAO superiors were DINK-haters. Because my wife and I gave up trying to have children without trying IVF, because we did not adopt, and because we did not become foster parents, my Democrat GAO superiors viciously demonized me, denigrated me, and condemned me as being a filthy rich disgusting DINK. They hinted/implied/argued/shouted that I lied about our efforts to have children. According to them, if we had children, I would not have been able to a) pass the CPA examination on my first attempt when I was 30, b) earn a master’s degree in accounting when I was 31, c) pass the Certified Internal Auditor examination on my first attempt when I was 32, or d) become a licensed CPA when I was 32. None of them had as many job-related master’s degrees or professional certifications as I had. None of them was a licensed CPA like I was. According to them, if we had children, we would not have been able to have a home built in Wheaton when I was 35. My Democrat GAO superiors complained about the time and cost needed to raise children. They decried their spouses having little or no income.

— Public servants are under attack. Here’s why their work matters. DD: What is your attitude toward federal employees? I was a federal employee for almost 30 years. In my defense, I would not have become a postal employee when I was 18 in 1966 if my high school friend had not asked me to join him in taking the postal employment examination with him. I would not have become an IRS employee in 1971 if my Firestone Store boss had not fired me for accepting a job offer from Oldsmobile, an offer that Oldsmobile withdrew saying it had just agreed to stop hiring Whites to settle an EEOC complaint. Because government employees are so widely despised if not hated, once you become a government employee, it is almost impossible to get a job in the private sector. Because federal employees are so widely despised if not hated, once you become a federal employee, it is almost impossible to get a job working for state, county, township, or municipal governments.
https://www.chicagotribune.com/2026/03/02/opinion-illinois-public-servants-matter/
(FROM THE ARTICLE: Across the nation, public servants carry a burden that few in the private sector ever shoulder: a persistent (and loudly expressed) perception that they do not work hard, they are overpaid, they are lost in the swamp of bureaucracy, or worse, that they simply do not care. These assumptions were amplified on the national stage last year when the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) took an axe to the federal workforce. Rather than collaborate with tenured employees who had firsthand insight on what processes needed to be reworked, DOGE told thousands of workers that their civic efforts were worthless and the country would be better off without them. In doing so, it continued a politically convenient narrative that has since had a chilling effect on state-level jobs and devastating impacts on real people. For instance, just hours after 2,400 Veterans Affairs jobs were dissolved, health care appointments for Illinois veterans were cancelled due to staffing shortages. We should all be concerned that the only efficiency DOGE delivered was deeper mistrust and disregard for those who keep our most fundamental systems running.)

— What discourages you from helping elect candidates win elections? For me, since 2000, it has been far too many Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct who have blamed their defeats a) on me, b) on what I have done as the GOPUSA Illinois Editor since 2000, and c) on what I did as an Illinois Center Right Coalition Steering Committee member 2003-2007, the TAPROOT Republicans of Illinois chairman 2005-2012, and the Republican fundraiser for Wheaton Independence Day parades and fireworks 2005-2019. Most commonly, they hint/imply/argue/shout that I painted them as being more conservative than they wanted to be painted, and that caused them to lose. According to them, I am far too conservative, and because of that, the more that I do to help them, the more votes that they will not get. Most commonly, they blame articles that I linked to in my newsletters that they do not like. Because Democrat and RINO leaders have ever-increasingly painted me so negatively, Republican candidates ever-increasingly make it clear that they do not want my help to get elected. Sadly, some Republican candidates on ballots in my precinct have taken averse actions against me to get more votes. Comments? – Dave Diersen

(FROM THE ARTICLE: A local Illinois lawmaker pushing to end abortions in the state has stepped down from Illinois Senate GOP leadership. State Senator Neil Anderson (R-Andalusia) filed a bill that would define preborn children at any stage of biological development as people. The measure also says that anyone who has an abortion could be charged with murder. Anderson also filed a bill to reinstate the death penalty for first-degree murder. Illinois Senate Republican leader John Curran says the bill has no support. “I don’t support his proposal; no other Republican legislator supports his proposal, House or Senate,” said Curran. “It’s an extreme proposal. I do not view it as a pro-life proposal; I view it as an anti-woman proposal about punishment.” As a result of both proposals, Anderson was forced to resign from Senate Republican leadership.)

— FRONT PAGE TOP OF FOLD WITH BIG PICTURE: DD: Democrat leaders ever-increasingly use high school students to promote more hatred against Republicans. How soon, if not already, will Democrat leaders promise high school students free rides at Ivy League universities if they walkout? If I had been active in Republican politics when I was a Crete-Monee High School student 1962-1966, the Democrats who ran the Park Forest Post Office would not have hired me in 1966. If I had been active in Republican politics when I was a UIC student 1966-1968 and 1971 and/or a NIU student 1969-1970, the Democrats who ran IRS would not have hired me in 1971. If I had been active in Republican politics when I was a part-time Loyola student 1972-1976, the Democrats who ran IRS would not have promoted me in 1972, 1973, or 1974. If I had been active in Republican politics when I was a part-time DePaul student 1976-1980, the Democrats who ran GAO would not have hired me in 1980 or promoted me in 1986. If I had been active in Republican politics when I was a part-time IIT student 1992-1997, my Democrat GAO superiors would have forced me to retire 4 years earlier, in 1993 instead of 1997. If I had been active in Republican politics, I doubt that UIC would have admitted me in 1966, NIU in 1969, Loyola in 1972, DePaul in 1976, and IIT in 1992. Democrats

— Urbana city leaders rejected a federal grant Monday night. Urbana City Council members said it is because the FEMA money has strings attached under the Trump administration. They stated that taking the money would require Urbana to follow all Department of Homeland Security rules and comply with federal action, like recent ICE raids nationwide. Urbana’s legal counsel said the city likely would not be on the hook for paying the money back. However, council members added they don’t trust the current administration and are hoping to protect residents. — Political parties exist to help elect candidates who can and will defend and advance their platform. The Republican Party platform is conservative. RINOs reject some, many, most, virtually all, if not all the planks in the Republican Party platform. Most commonly, they reject its personal responsibility, traditional marriage and family, right to life, immigration, anti-vice, Second Amendment, and/or equal opportunity (no race or gender based preference giving) planks. Far too many RINOs use the Republican Party’s “BIG TENT” policy a) to become Republican Precinct Committeemen, b) to become leaders in Republican organizations, c) to run for government offices as Republicans, and d) to get elected as Republicans. The Democrat Party does not have a “BIG TENT” policy. Its precinct committeemen, party leaders, candidates, and elected officials aggressively defend and advance all the planks in the Democrat Party platform, especially its dependency on government and charity, LGBTQ, abortion, mass/illegal immigration, pro-vice, gun control, and Affirmative Action and DEI planks, that is, its race and gender based preference giving, patronage, political affiliation discrimination, reverse discrimination, age discrimination, religious discrimination, and national origin discrimination planks. If the Republican Party does not stop RINOs from destroying the Republican Party, the Republican Party will soon be defunct. Soon, all of America will be like Illinois. – Dave Diersen

— What has your Republican Precinct Committeeman (RPC) done so far to increase the number of Republican ballots cast in your precinct in the March 17, 2026 primary? Notwithstanding ever-increasing Democrat-promoted hatred against RPCs, yesterday, I finished hand-delivering envelopes to 400 residences in my precinct using 800 mailing labels for those residences that have at least one Republican (R) or Independent (NA) voter. The envelopes had my return address label, a copy of the unmarked sample ballot, a Milton Township Republican Organization (MTRO) Voter Guide, and campaign literature from all the candidates on the Republican ballot in my precinct who had provided their literature to MTRO (Tracy, Mendrick, Dabrowski, Drew, and Moore). I had to explain to some voters why they were NA. I am happy to report that only one Democrat voter in my precinct, albeit an aggressive, nasty, wealthy, and prominent realtor with a common name, shouted threats at me. He shouted at me in a very threatening tone that he had thrown my envelope in the trash, that I should not deliver anything there anymore, that he knew who I was, that he knew where I lived, and that if I ever did deliver there again, he would come to my home and dump it on my driveway. While I did not realize who he was until after the incident, he had known who I was for many years. He had been a registered D in my precinct very near my home years ago. I now know that after he sold that home, he bought a very expensive and prominent home in the new part of my precinct. I delivered to his new home only because there was a registered NA in his home. To avoid future threats like his from Ds, I will identify those homes in my precinct that have NAs and not deliver to those homes that also have Ds but no Rs, something I did not take the time to do this time. There are limits on the time that I can spend. I spend 10+ hours a day 7 days a week putting GOPUSA ILLINOIS newsletters together and sending them out. I spent many hours putting 800 mailing labels and 400 return address label on 400 envelopes, putting them into walk order, stuffing them, dividing them into 5 batches, and hand-delivering them. I used 400 DuPage County Republican Central Committee envelopes and I used my photocopier, paper, and ink to copy the sample ballot 400 times 2-sided back-to-back. If I spent 6 minutes getting each envelope ready, that would be 40 hours. I spent about 15 hours hand-delivering the envelopes, or about 3 hours per batch. – Dave Diersen

(FROM GOOGLE AI: Rev. Jesse Jackson and his organization, the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, have had a long, complex, and often criticized relationship with major telecommunications companies, including Comcast and AT&T. Over the past two decades, Jackson has frequently endorsed mergers involving these companies and lobbied against net neutrality regulations, often coinciding with donations from these corporations to his non-profit organizations. Key aspects of this relationship include: Corporate Funding & Support: AT&T, Comcast, and Verizon have been major financial contributors to Jackson’s Citizenship Education Fund. For instance, in 1999, AT&T donated $425,000 to the fund shortly after Jackson withdrew his opposition to the AT&T/TCI Cable merger.)
